I didn't know they wen't back that far. Knowing that and seeing the 2010s currently for sale, I would also be curious to see what a full set would go for. 

I do not know other than it's likely scarce. I'm just seeing everyone who has one up for sale right now is asking $350-$400

2010 is going to be a pretty penny just by itself. 

Sold my first MidiNES cart for $80. Had the original Memblers Squeedo board from before Wayfar has all the PCB files to roll his own. I wish I kept it.

Mine is a recolored small section of a fractal image I created a long time ago. I just liked the shape. 

I would love to see more content, and what you are proposing sounds great. 

Finally off work (ready for the weekend!) and got a wider shot. Excuse the dismantled nes in front. That is for playing dev carts with socketed EPROMs sticking out the front.

lol, for sure. There was quite the back and fourth in my other test thread of people trying to be the last poster anyways. That 503 was only temporary.

You are exactly right rgb modding requires tapping into the onscreen display.  It's not pvm quality but definitely a decent alternative especially with the price of pvm these days. 

 

Yeah, the phosphor quality is not going to compare and shadow masks will also not really stack up against the look of aperture grills 

I LOVE that c64 monitor. I wish I had one for my c64 and c128. 

Also modding consumer tubes for RGB seems to be becoming more common these days. It's mostly just a matter of tapping into the on screen display chip's pins for RGB. I was going to do it to my little Hello Kitty tube I keep around.

Not excusing the bad behavior, but I doubt he cancelled your transaction for $38.

I guess they came across that auction for the $11,000+ graded copy and had second thoughts.
