I didn't know they wen't back that far. Knowing that and seeing the 2010s currently for sale, I would also be curious to see what a full set would go for.
-
I do not know other than it's likely scarce. I'm just seeing everyone who has one up for sale right now is asking $350-$400
-
2010 is going to be a pretty penny just by itself.

Sold my first MidiNES cart for $80. Had the original Memblers Squeedo board from before Wayfar has all the PCB files to roll his own. I wish I kept it.

Sorry, Tyler. You jumped the gun. That distinction goes to @acromite53 at 1 in the morning on Halloween.
lol, for sure. There was quite the back and fourth in my other test thread of people trying to be the last poster anyways. That 503 was only temporary.

I love it. I was wondering who was in control of that group. Glad to see one of the sages.

That is sick! That's some oldschool prototyping right there. Looks just like that ZX Spectrum prototype someone unearthed relatively recently.

You are exactly right rgb modding requires tapping into the onscreen display. It's not pvm quality but definitely a decent alternative especially with the price of pvm these days.
Yeah, the phosphor quality is not going to compare and shadow masks will also not really stack up against the look of aperture grills

I LOVE that c64 monitor. I wish I had one for my c64 and c128.
Also modding consumer tubes for RGB seems to be becoming more common these days. It's mostly just a matter of tapping into the on screen display chip's pins for RGB. I was going to do it to my little Hello Kitty tube I keep around.-

I paid too much for that little guy. It was my first PVM. Bought on eBay for like $200+shipping lol.

Hey guys very cool club. I got my first PVM from a friend and it was a 14". I was so blown away at the time I immediately started looking for a 20" set. I got a lead on one and on a rainy December day in 2016 I drove to Austin from Dallas to pickup a 20m2u. Since then I got into RGB modding consumer CRTs. I currently have a 20m2u, 20m4u, and a 27" Consumer Sony that is RGB modded. I tend to prefer playing on my consumer set since I prefer the bigger screen size.
Sup Dallas homie.

Lookin' slick! I'll get a snap of my setup tonight when I'm home. My main is also a PVM-20M2MDU

This is not the world I wish to live in, lol.

Wow! What a nice pickup! Those monitors looks great! I love the thin bezel on such a big screen.

It looks like you are in Canada and he is in the US. Possibly the real reason is he didn't want to ship to Canada.
Not excusing the bad behavior, but I doubt he cancelled your transaction for $38.
Then he should not have those 98 or so countries listed in his 'Ships to" section

I guess they came across that auction for the $11,000+ graded copy and had second thoughts.
Sellers remorse is an ugly look. What a flake.

I had no idea this console was even a thing. Well done. Looks great. I love the weird and the obscure.
