  1. A-Ha, Information Society, Walk the Moon, and The Divinyls.

Take on Me vs Flagpole Sitta was a tough one.  But like Fox said, Take on Me may be hard to beat.  I'd never even heard Shut Up and Dance before today that I can recall.  It's catchy and the video was great.  I like the Punch-Out part where his head gets knocked off.

  2. Took the first game off my list today!  Finished Marvel's Spider-man on the PS5.  The story was great and I was teared up at the ending.  I'm going to chase the Platinum and do the DLC further down the road, but the base game is done.  It was super long compared to Miles Morales.  Yeah, I played them backwards.

  3. 4 for me.  Just played it at that time in my life where it was a great influence.  I'd played FF1 and Dragon Warrior, and only liked them, but FF4 made me love the characters and story, and made me love the genre from then on.  I love most of the Final Fantasy games, but 4 is definitely my favorite.

  4. Went with The Cardigans, Chumbawamba, Human League, and Sinead O'Connor.

The toughest choice was The Cardigans vs The Outfield.  I'll have "Lovefool" and "My Favorite Game" stuck in my head all day now, so I voted for them.

If Biz Markie's song was release now it'd totally be a meme, it's funny because the "singing" is so bad.

  5. Only ever encountered Neo Geo in the arcades where I played some King of Fighters, Metal Slug, and the like.  Always enjoyed it.  I remember drooling over the ads for the home console in Game Fan magazines, but the price, oh man!  Never once have I even seen the actual home hardware let alone play it.  However, I explored it's library pretty thoroughly via MAME years ago.  You guys are right about so many fighting games... but some of them are cream of the crop;  King of Fighters, Samurai Showdown, Last Blade, Mark of the Wolves, etc.   Granted I'm a super casual when it comes to fighters, and usually only play the cpu (on easy).

So I give the Neo Geo a 7.  Maybe it does deserve higher, but it was (and still is) too expensive and too elusive and that's too bad.

    but here is a pic:

That's the same as mine, I pretty sure it's the first print, but also the most common version.  @Tabonga has all the disc versions /jealous.

After finding out that there were different versions, I convinced myself that I would be happy with just the one.  I mean if we were talking about a $10 game, sure I'd own all 7, but... oh well.

Here is my IGA autograph.  I got this from him in person at the GameStop manager's conference the year he was there to promote Order of Ecclesia.  He was really nice, had to talk to him through a translator, I told him how much I loved his Castlevania games like an enthusiastic fanboy.  He was humble about it and told me thanks for enjoying his games.  I have a picture of us somewhere on an old hard drive hiding away in the closet.  I will try to dig it out sometime.

The picture is a thin cardstock, that frame is an 8 x 10 so its a bit smaller than that.

  8. I've neglected posting my new stuff for a while.  I didn't even get to round it all up for these pictures.  I know I also got Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity, Crash Bandicoot 4, Dragon Quest XI (Switch), Skully, and Walking Dead Saints and Sinners for PSVR.  While these were technically gifts for the wife and kids' Christmas, I'll still count them in my collection. 🙂

I got Final Fantasy X/X-2, Bloodstained, Galak Z/Skulls of the Shogun, Trine Collection, and Starlink (XB1 game only) at GameStop for $21 when they did that tiered discount where you buy 5 games $19.99 or less and get them 50% off.  That's why I got that XB1 Starlink, it was .99 but it made 5.

Fire Emblem Three Houses was $29 and Star Wars was $15 around black Friday.  I'm glad the Super Mario Game & Watch was easy to find, I saw other VGSers got them easily too.  Atooi Collection and Grandia from Limited Run Games finally came in.

And on PS5 I got Spider-Man Miles Morales and Immortals Fenyx Rising.  I finished Miles Morals' story, but I'm still randomly playing it here and there to get the trophies, my buddy says it's an easy platinum.   I got the version with the code for the updated Spider-Man 2018, I put that one on my backlog challenge list since I never finished it on PS4.  Immortals went on sale for half price around Christmas, but I'd already bought it.  I should know better by now than to get an Ubisoft game at launch.  And finally got the PS5/PSVR adaptor, it came super quick.  I requested it early, and had it in hand before they even sent the e-mails that they were processing my request.
