I grew up in Eden Prairie, Minnesota and as a youngun' often went with my family to the Southdale Mall in Edina, Minnesota. It opened in 1956 so I suspect I went there shortly after it first opened - although I don't remember for certain.
The parking lot had big colored signs with animals on them so you could find your car more easily.
Southdale was the first indoor mall, made to capture sales during Minnesota's harsh winters. Eden Prairie Center would have been in your hometown when it opened later in 1976 and both are still there today. Fun fact: Mallrats was filmed in EPC though was portrayed as being located in New Jersey.

Bit of a shot in the dark, but I'm looking to buy this variant. Please PM me if you have one for sale. I'm looking at $45 shipped. Thanks!

That's a fun box! Mighty nice of you, Jone.

I'd do it too. I remember doing one on NA and sending it to someone and then it was lost shortly after that, haha.

It was a great movie that I'd recommend to anybody interested in WW1. Between the gas and lice and rats and the sirens and being forced to go over the top and run towards certain death, I can't imagine how hellish it must have been to fight there. Interesting to note, the last living soldier to have fought in WW1 died only eight years ago in England.

I received a lot of NES carts several years ago on NA without pictures and was disappointed with what arrived. They were dirty and smelled, but since I didn't ask for pictures and was going on the seller's reputation, I chose not to leave feedback in lieu of negative feedback and I never worked with them again. This also happened another time on NA with some Genesis stuff that I eventually upgraded, but it was even more egregious that time. Maybe I'm too nice, but it grinds my gears.

I have one of these too. It's exactly what you think it is, a case to hold the game.

Sometimes i also think back and wonder how many "rare" and/or valuable games (by today's standards) passed through my hands. Back then i wasn't really a collector in the same way i am today, was just looking to own games i thought looked fun.
Brother, as a former employee myself, you really don't want to know.

Worst controller ever??? It's in my top 5. Maybe top 3!
My dude, I know you must be trolling me. I need to check my inventory, better press the black button. Or was it white? No matter, I just died, lol. For reference, the best controller ever is the PS3 edging out SNES.

There are like four PAL exclusives, right? F1 Racing Championship, F-1 World Grand Prix II, Premier Manager 64, and Taz Express?

I'm passively collecting the US set, and I have almost all the harder to find titles. Some of the variants are brutal, if you're in to that kind of thing. Some of the games have been surprisingly fun to play as well, despite the worst controller ever.

Welcome back, man. Looking forward to your interesting posts.

Over some of the threads I poured hours and hours of genuine work into and now the general public will never stumble on them again? .....not fully, no.
Any chance of reincarnating your Stores That Don't Exist Anymore thread? That was amazing.

Gosh, 1, 2, and 3 are timeless classics. But those aside, I'll say Super Mario RPG for SNES.

Pineda at 2yr/$20M is nice, but we still need to replace Gibson's ~25 starts.
-
Supposedly we were in the mix for Wheeler, but I don't know how serious that rumor is.
-
Marilyn didn't want this anymore?

The Twins still need starting pitching, since like 2005, but the bats are alive. Figure losing Cron, Pineda, and Castro though. Possibly Gordon, Lewis, and Kiriilloff to make the roster as soon as team control kicks in.

That sounds like a lot of work, my dude. Better off buying one in better condition to start with if time is of any issue. These are a dime a dozen, so finding one with a better starting point should be easy.

Yeah, it's rude, but we've all been there. Chin up for the next one!
