i do for really expensive games, mostly to keep the dust minimal. 

very nice collection. I too am a big From Software fan and have collected a lot of their games over the years. They've certainly developed quite an eclectic range of games over the years! Cookie and Cream is a great example of this

Fun fact: the PS2 version of NHL 06 includes NHL '94.

Weird that only the ps2 version has the bonus game. Was going to add it to my gamecube collection, but guess I'll need to pick it up on ps2. Love when releases include old games on them!

Assuming this was the same one (which is very likely given it' rarity) I just missed out on this. I bid what i thought would be a "safe" amount but boy was i way off! haha

It's been in my ebay searches for years and it's definitely a rarity. There's another racing title that's similar that I won't be discussing until i can track my own box/manual down. 

Finally crossed a big one off my SNES list. 

Looks like some of the picture links are broken. Any chance we can have them uploaded again?

The problem is I don't know which will make me "happier"! LoL I tend to way overthink things and end up stuck on making a decision.

On one hand, the chances of me selling any of my collection is probably close to zero. I already struggle to get motivated to move my doubles, triples etc! haha

On the other hand, the games I'm considering removing the plastic from are high end showpieces. Protection isn't a concern since they are in acrylic cases and I think they'd definitely display better without the wrap.

I searched through the forum and didn't see anything about this question, so thought I'd ask. 

I have a bunch of SNES game boxes that have the original plastic, but are "opened". I'm sure most of you understand what I'm referring to, typically someone cuts an opening on one end of the plastic so they can remove the game/inserts. I have some very valuable games that are in this condition. I do not plan on grading them, but I do have acrylic cases that I display them in. I've been thinking of removing the plastic wrap as imo it makes the box art not stand out as well. These are MINT boxes and are in acrylic cases, so they are very well protected. Is there any reason I should/should not remove the plastic wrap?

awesome pickup! The Colin McRae game is REALLY hard to find CIB, especially in good condition. Been searching for a long time for a nice copy.

you should absolutely clean that bad boy up! It's really easy to take apart N64 controllers and clean each piece seperately.

I'd like to recommend Digital Foundry Retro. John Linneman puts together amazing videos. 

Also, Jeremy Parish has been going through chronologically doing retrospectives on various systems. He used to write for EGM among other mags.

These guys are professionals and really dig into the history of the games. Highly recommended.

Definitely going to try and get one. Hopefully they make other consoles as well!

yeah, i buy extras when they are available. They've been in short supple the last couple months, at least in white. I think the glass are only $10? they really add up when you're buying so many like i do!

really like the use of glass shelving on your ikea bookcases. This is giving me some ideas for my own shelving.

This is absolutely nuts. I can't imagine spending that kind of money on a players choice bundle. Why is this so rare anyway? Store exclusive?
