I just wanna confirm before I bother putting any effort in. I assume I'm gonna just have to suck it up and take the loss here, but dude's asking for a return on one of the TWO Animal Crossing games he bought off me.
Photos from the listing:
Photos from the buyer:
Like am I crazy? It looks to me like two completely different discs? Feels like ebay is too quick to just auto-side with the dude, and he's just "trading up" a disc he already had or something. Very frustrating.
Please post the buyers ebay id so we can all block him and prevent more scams from him ...

I already sent a mail to Capcom asking them about this but still no reply. The more i think about this, the copy is authentic. I think the distributor wasn`t selling any of these two games so he simply added Need for Speed as a bonus because he had many of them .

It is very odd seeing an EA game tied to a Capcom game. I know Viewtiful Joe was one of the "Capcom Five" games during the 2002 E3. Maybe it could have something to do with that.
Ok then maybe its a later production to help boost the sales ... That also explains why Gamecube has some two in one or 3 in one games

Since no one replied me i priced it first at $500 then at $1500 , no one believes me its real i get messages of people asking me why a Capcom game has a demo disk from another company? I ask myself the same question but the game is Y fold sealed . i probably send this to wata to determine id its fake or not

See the below linked item on ebay. This guy has a game and box at 150 bucks and claims the box is a rare variant. This is what is in the item description:
"Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! late print (1990-1994). What makes it extremely unique is that it is the variant known as the "PROMO COPY/STAR CODE". This is only found on a few first party Nintendo releases and appears on the inner flaps of the box."
I checked my copy and it has those stars on the inner flaps. Is this actually a rare variant or is this guy just trying to beef up the price on a normal copy?
Its not rare and its not a promo copy as wata says but someone paid $1800 for a copy some weeks ago . You don`t even need to see the code to know if its a star code. The back of the box has 1987,1989 written . Thats how you know its a "star code"

Even if its not graded by Wata we can easily see that this sealed Mario is a high grade copy .

Is that still within their SLA or are they behind?
Was the turbo service an extra up charge?edit: a better way to word that question - is turbo an expedited service?
Turbo is like a stardard time . 30 business days they say . I paid $75 for each CIB game

No personal experience but the higher level tiers still have asterisks staying the times are estimates. The standard tier says 180 days! Someone posted here not that long ago that they had paid but they never received the where to ship to email.
It was me. They finally contacted me . It appears they had a bug in the system but i finally was able to ship. My new order was placed june 18 i paid for Turbo. It still in "scanning" status

Once upon a time back when sealed Genesis games were only modestly above CIB copies in price, I bought a sealed Gunstar Heroes.
Having previous success with VGA I sent it in to be graded and expected a 85 grade or so.
It came back ungraded and they said it was a reseal.
Trusting VGA that it was a reseal I opened the Gunstar to confirm CIB contents. I found it was indeed brand spankin' new, fruit roll up and insert poster and everything. Pin connectors on the cart immaculate and perfect under magnification.
I was so mad that I pretty much sold my whole collection.
In retrospect I should have just been happy I had a 100% CIB minty copy, but I got all bent out of shape for some reason.
Moral of the story is that VGA is staffed by actual human beings who sometimes make errors. They are not God almighty.
Genesis games come with a variety of different seal styles, depending on the company and print run.
Genesis are not easy... i live in Mexico so for me the easiest way to determine if its authentic is to look for the "NOM" sticker . They use that sticker for every imported good. That sticker also has to look old .

I am 100% sure Heritage is not faking auctions. Thet have a big reputation to care . Why would they care to fake a PS2 auction when they get millions on antiques , real estate , art etc?
I think its a group of people who are shilling the auction , one of them sends the game , and they have a good system to send the bids so there`s always a victim paying a lot of money. And in the worst case scenario if someone of them wins the auction , they already figured out what to do .

Sent mine in like April of last year...a single sealed NES game....paid for the 20 day service of whatever...I think it took 6 months. Things were slow getting any updates in the account and it took a LONG time to get a response when I complained of slow service and zero communication.
Finally got it in the mail and was stoked, but the case was REALLY scuffed up on the inside. They offered for me to send it back and have the case replaced, but I didn’t. Figured it would take at least another 6 months to get it back. Probably would have been longer as it really wouldn’t be a priority.
I will though say the cases (albeit mine is scuffed) are pretty impressive and I agreed with the grade.
I’ll definitely send more to them when the process becomes better (and that may take a while with supplies possibly being limited due to Covid).
When you placed your order and paid for the grading for that game did they sent you a confirmation mail with instructions telling you how and where to send the game? I am asking you this because i got nothing and i am still waiting ... they just charged me

Assasins creed , devil may cry , teken , street fighter turbo or whathever , call of duty (i love shooters but i never liked call of duty) , golden eye , grand turismo
Not saying its bad in fact its a very impressive game but some reason after days of playing any Grad Theft Auto i get bored .
I was a huge fan of RPG`s but after finishing Final Fantasy Vll and FF10 its over , they are all the same for me

I also see people selling $3,000 - $5000 games st ebay . What if the buyer opens a case because he dindt get it? He just takes pics of an empty box or the same game but a CiB and opens a case , paypal freezes your money while the case is open and of course even with your pics while you where packing they will probably side with the buyer . You eill have to go to the police.... I am also in the comic books world and its more common than you think. So common that someone from ebay told me that its not safe to list $1000 + items at ebay..... Better use Heritage , Certified link, and others than risk your games.
