  1. ya lol i took down the pics so i could take the nice pika out. gundam is mint too happy to trade individuals or cash the lot
  2. a lot of different things but i've never seen a SP problem that's unfixable or difficult its a liquidation sale AS IS but i'd bet 99-100% restoration on 15 units and enough to to make 10 more out of the 30 if you have shell parts. the graphite, pearl blue, and pearl pink 101 are all cosmetic damage and the special editions are not 100% but ive never had problems they take about 20 minutes to turn 2 into 1
  3. i think we agree. the CPI is going to be more --- so hold more desired assets so they can outpace growth than boomer trash https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consumer_price_index
  4. have you applied to a job at wata? i get the idea of traditional but are you sure they are predictable? seems like when too many people go to sell there is a special insurance that regular people dont get that gets bigger and bigger every year. the only way out of that would be to hold an asset that people demand instead of insurance/investor contributions making up the difference
  5. those 'regular' assets are backed by corrupt ceos and leveraged options. so wouldnt that make video games millennial regular assets?
  6. so comic books, RVs, coins, real estate and guitars are traditional?
  7. 5 months later probably says a lot about the market that the discussion section is so volatile but the raw pics section hasnt been doing anything for 5 months
  8. sealed game prices have been falling for about a year now but defiantly seeing a big drop lately back to around 2019/ 2018 prices u can only really see it in the 'make offer' section they are going super low but keeping the sticker prices high
  9. bump. i like orig gb the most so i cant go as low as before
  10. im at .7 price charting for the lot. basically free money i dont think you're seeing the part where a ton of members have my lots over years. Or that most of the lots have been sold at a loss. so i would think that to be a better option than moving them to retail and away from VGS because then i'd have to charge a lot more other hobbies like comics, pokemon cards, coins.... are commonplace to have wholesalers so i really enjoy being the only one in video games
  11. thanks for the info i'll check them out and try a test run. since the 007 grade is the highest available condition i'd seek out a different service to grade the vga 80-100 scale right now i'm mostly stick to VGA slide outs along with an excel sheet of all the damage. A new grading company would do well with 4-8 subgrades ----- 2 is not enough to get a feel by the numbers only
  12. that's a great compliment thank you with the mario 64 comparing to the 007 nightfire in condition something isnt right between the condition or grading system or prices being sold
  13. complaining? my personal complaints werent in there but I do have a couple: one game I got had been placed in the holder so that the shrink wrap that was opened on the side of the box caught the side of the holder and ripped . All they would have to do is press the shrink while it was being put in to prevent that another one when i took a pokemon blue out of the holder it was jammed into the holder like it didnt fit so i had to cut the both corners to free it out of the holder very important documenting variants of past behavior into a comprehensive history of the events and complaints. i'm worried the revisions and paid ads will overshadow real customers experiences using the services so it's important to document and reference because we saw how Nintendoage went and all these articles are getting revised like this one https://www.antiquetrader.com/collectibles/collecting-video-games do u know where i can find the original article? but hey, you've got a ton of wata games to sell to so I get where you're coming from
  14. can someone explain the relationship between CGC and WATA having the same parent company? ive had a few explanations but I still dont get it
  15. maybe VGS could make a database of the claims pokemon red sticker tear with writing prototype snes carts with retail cart inside usa usa1 swap rondo fake overgrading 9.8 007 nightfire seal ripped while putting in the holder those are off the top of my head ... what else? I never invested from the start because of the whole Dain/NA fiasco. I couldnt get over it and still cant
  16. yeah on ebay they can sometimes get up to TEN thousand dollars without shills or anything crazy..... https://www.antiquetrader.com/collectibles/collecting-video-games this aged well
