Ok so, not sure if this has been discussed. eBay is doing this thing now where if you make an offer on something and it is accepted, you get charged right away. Which makes sense in theory. Except, there was a seller with 5-6 manuals I needed, and I assume they combine shipping. If I'm going to get charged right away then how are they going to issue me a combined invoice? Or am I stuck paying $3.99 per manual even though they will all get shoved into the same envelope because I sent offers instead of adding to a cart?

I've built combined shipping into my offer in the past. Whatever my normal offer would be, I'd lower each by $2-3 (or whatever seems fair) and including a message explaining my self. That way, if they accept, the total on my end is the final total, no refund required. Granted this might not work for $.99 manuals.

Starfield. It’s pretty good. It reminds me a lot of Borderlands, but Starfield takes itself way too seriously. It would probably remind me of any other Bethesda RPG if I had played any of them. There is like way to much to remember. I wish there was like a dumbass mode where the game just made decisions for me for gear, weapons, loot, etc. 8 hours in and I still have no idea what the stats on anything are or do nor do I care to learn. I got it with game pass, other than that I’m not sure I would have bought it at MSRP. Maybe at Xmas when it’s 39.99 or 29.99.

I'm playing it off gamepass too. I'll confirm, it's plays like any other Bethesda RPG. Dead facial animations, awesome OST.

  3. Anyone interested in this PS3? It's model CECHE01, so it's backwards compatible with PS2 games, 80gb HDD, and manufactured 3/2007. It's in decent cosmetic condition, but most noticable blemishes can be seen in the second picture. Shipping is from 92586.

  4. I'm playing Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox. It was on Game pass years ago, but I only got 30% through the story. So I'm going into to it pretty fresh. I feel like the controls are a little complicated. I've already killed multiple people on accident when I just wanted to talk to them.

  5. I just finished LoZ: Age of Calamity. I beat BotW for the first time the other week and figured it might be a little too much to jump directly into TotK, so I thought I'd give this a go. I've never been able to get into the Dynasty Warrior series, but I really enjoyed both this and Dragon Quest Heroes II. And despite knowing the story of BotW, I was still surprised by the ending of AoC.

You know, I don't know if this is something that's changed in the last 10-15 years, or if I simply never noticed before that, but I did pick up about 10 years ago that it seems all food products and medicines have expiration dates on them, regardless of what they are.  Granted, most items within that category do, in fact, have some shelf life, but something like salt wouldn't or any other simple product made of basic, mineral ingredience.

This leads me to assume that, at least in the US, all manufacturers of food or drug-related items must now put an expiration date on all of there products.  This means that stuff that can last a long time, now "expires" in 2 years.  Why 2 years--because since I noticed the expiration dates, generally, I've never seen anything longer than 2 years.  I think that must be a maximum threshold, even if it's arbitrary by the food industry.

Dried meals for emergency shelters advertise 25 year shelf life, so while you're probably right about arbitrary dates, it's probably more than 2 years.
