Edit to First post not showing in active thread listing.

Is this possible!!!  An author of a tread edits the first post of the tread there is no notification and this dose not showing up on the new/active thread/main board. 

The only way this shows up is to make a response to the original post/or bumping.

Is there a way this can be done?

This is not a thing that can be done, no. I'd argue against it if it were anyway, as people edit posts all the time - the active threads feed would become rather jumbled. Best thing to do honestly is just bump the thread as you'd normally do, and direct people to check the updated OP.
