Tabonga | 2,532
Sad to say but one of my favorite authors has passed away. He was 78 and over the course of his career he wrote mostly science fiction - often with characters that were larger than life - basically folk heroes of one stripe or another. He had a lot of clever ideas - for example one set of books was set on an orbital brothel and another was set on a galactic midway. He also wrote one of the earliest urban fantasies "Stalking the Unicorn" in 1987 - he wrote a couple of follow up novels to it but never devled very far into that genre. He also used a lot of humor in most of his writings - something I always like in fiction. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_works_by_Mike_Resnick Edited January 9, 2020 by Wandering Tellurian

Br81zad | 630
I've never read his work, but it sounds interesting. I'll keep an eye out for the name next time I'm in Halfprice Books. RIP
