Potential disc rot?

Hello friends. I recently purchased a copy of Lunar eternal blue for the Sega CD and I have some concerns. When looking at the back of the CD you can see 2 main areas where it appears to be warping inside the disc..it's kind of hard to explain. I looked over other Sega CD and Saturn games and couldn't find any others that had this. Have any of you seen anything like this before? Is this the start of disc rot/bronzing or could it be some sort of factory defect? The game does work but im unable to play for any amount of time as my Sega CD is being repaired. Thanks for any insight you guys may have.IMG_20220512_093150.thumb.jpg.41fe909810535395fcbfa86a6603827c.jpg

It doesn't look like disc rot from the pictures.  Really just an imperfection in the manufacturing process.  Not really a rare phenomenon but I'd say it's a little more common on DVDs.  I've seen it on brand new discs pretty regularly.  Bronzing is going to appear a little more cloudy.

Thanks for the reply. I actually found quite a few pictures of newly opened Xbox 360 games that had similar defects to what I posted so I feel a bit better about it now. This copy is super minty and the price point was decent so seeing this bummed me out a bit. Once again, thanks for the insight. I've tried to capture it better in another picture if anyone has anything else to add.
