Thanks for the input so far everyone.  The top cart has more of a green to the seal of quality and it is definitely more worn in person.

As long as the boards are legit, I will be happy.  The labels won't bother me as much since they wouldn't be obvious fakes. I think of how badly Ocarina of Time labels hold up over time, and I hope this is a similar situation.

I think 296 is generally accepted as the number of US N64 games.  The NFR, Player's Choice, and color variants do not need be included.  Of note, there's an F1 game with NTSC labeling that was never released in North America.  And ISS2000 has both a Spanish and English release.

I was looking at my 2 copies of Leaf Green, and I noticed one label is more vibrant than the either. Both have some gloss and imprinted numbers, but the boards are different too! Imgur link for 10 pictures below.

No.  The gameplay has to age by a lot.  Just played Gears of War 2 yesterday.  It feels in 2021 just as it did in 2008.  I'm not sure if PS3/Wii/360 will ever be retro.  GC/PS2/Xbox might get there someday, but aren't quite there yet.

I'm skipping the next set.  I can't even find base Sword and Shield, much less any Hidden Fates.  It's more so about the hunt, but there is no hunt to be had.

And the number of cards in each set irks me.  I'm not trying to get every single card, either.

Looking to add the 3 non-Mario 18 inch characters. 

The Mercari undersale at $250 is now listed on eBay at $1500. Incredible. 

I’m attempting to finish the Base set, Fossil, and Jungle. It’s fun to collect, when I’m not concerned about condition. The supply on these cards is so much more than video games!

I’m good on the Wario but I appreciate you letting me know! I got really lucky because my last pick-up was the complete set of 8 First Print plushes. They needed a little TLC but I got them looking like new.

Yeah the Yoshi’s are definitely some of my favorites, I still can’t believe I have them. Hopefully some more pop up so you can add them to your collection as well because you sound pretty close to finishing too!

I had read some people post on-line that there were 2 sizes of red/blue/yellow/greenredboots. But I'm sort of throwing that in with DIddy Kong. There's like 23432 variations, and everyone has to draw the line somewhere.

Mumbo Keychain, B/W Yoshi, first print Toad, and open mouth Mario are the 5 I'd like to have, but we'll see.

Glad to see you’ve finished up. Don’t think I’ve gotten anything since your finds for me on Mercari. I did find the Wario I lost if still interested.

I received the mid-sized Mario that still sits on his stomach from a fellow member here. It is big. It is glorious. It is awesome. Lol

I’ve jumped headfirst into finding Peach, but no luck. The prices are what I consider to be B/W Yoshi money. If it was in the base catalog, it should be cheaper than those!

No luck on first print Toad either. It’s the last 1st print I need. I don’t count Diddy. Too many “first print” Diddy’s to sort through in terms of tags, eye color, and eye size. 
 

Mumbo Jumbo keychain, B/W Yoshi, and the 1st print Toad are all I really care about. I’m indifferent about Peach. The Jumbo Mario/Dk are just too big. I may get the normal size talking Mario, DK, and Bowser out of boredom. Maybe 2nd print Luigi just to have all 3. 

Were you the buyer on today’s Black Yoshi? I saw it immediately. I was immediately pumped, but bummed because I didn’t have the funds.

I've noticed on eBay the price has swung around quite a lot over the past few months all the way up to $5000 and down to $1600.  I have the whole set except the ultra rare black and white yoshi and the Keychain versions. I'd have to examine the other ones to see what version they are.

I also have the banjo kazooie ones.

I’m not interested until there’s an exclusive that is must play. It would have to be HZD or Gears and a deal at that.
