Time for more. Not sure if it's helpful but don't worry I will keep revealing even more. Enjoy the brainstorm for the time being

I am very dedicated for NES and Famicom and always have been. NES is literally 50% of my life, the other 30% is fighting games and the other 20% is eating and sleeping

Is there some reason you can't disconnect from your network?
Well, kind of captain obvious answer but to be fair I'm not sure if that would even help
Another solution could be to just...... install another partition or USB drive with Linux/Ucuntu. Another lightweight system could be helpful for having very critical consistency but switching entire operating systems is a little bit of too much effort

You can still set priority on Win 10 and Win 11, but you have to go to the "details" page of task manager. On Win 10, there are tabs at the top of the window for processes, performance . . . details. On Win 11, they are little icons on the left side.
Oh crap I missed that. Under processes tab it is impossible to set priority but it is in fact possible to set it under details tab. Thanks a lot!! So that at least puts me back into initial square 1. Still are there any more advanced ideas to get it even more reliable? (other than getting a faster PC of course)

This is my method for Commando levels 1-1 and 1-2 pacifist. This doesn't happen every single run and especially those bridges are super bitch and still inconsistent and I keep dying like at least 5 times in a row..... Level 1-3 starts to be super bitch in that bunker area and 1-4 is probably possible to finish pacifist only by a robot

Hmmmm. is it Final Fantasy 9? (I'm skipping 8 because I've never played it and it always seemed like it tried to be a bit more "realistic".)
Regardless, this feels like it has that pseudo-rendered feel that most Squaresoft games had in the PS1 era where they painting so many backgrounds.
OK, not that and stop guessing Final Fantasy

It is not Army Men 3D and I would go as far into saying it is not Army Men series so don't try to answer Army Men 1 2 3 3D 4D 5D 200IQ 300XD and so on

I'm not really fond of playing emulators and I am one of those people who absolutely needs to use real hardware with real carts/Everdrives but often times there are situations where emulators are completely unavoidable. What puts me off from using emulators is that broken and unstable piece of crap called Windows running tons of "legal spyware", sending data, updating and connecting to the internet all the time and just disrupting the stability and dropping frames. Like seriously emulators under this stupid shitty modern binbows are so broken and inconsistent I just lose any sort of interest of playing. Is there anything to improve this or maybe even completely eliminate all silly problems? My question specifically targets Windows 10. I remember there was a decent function under Windows 7 where you could set priority to high in task manager and that solved the problem for the most part. Unfortunately this functionality has been cut from 10 for some reason. Any suggestions please? Anyone have been in the same boat and resolved this? Thanks

So is this another one of those custom wad files intended for those modern Doom source ports right? To be fair I'm not into custom wads or hacks of games in general but most importantly I still need to complete Plutonia and TNT.......

Alright, I just threw the game in and purposely ran out of bullets, and what it does is give you one bullet back after a delay, then when you fire it, it gives you one more bullet after a delay again, and so on. This replenishment does not happen at a fast enough rate to fight off the final boss's projectiles. Furthermore, since it never increments you more than one free bullet, there is no way to fill up to "50" once you've used all your ammo, which would be depleted rather quickly in a drawn out battle with the final boss.
As such, the screenshots posted by BlackVega are literally impossible to accomplish without cheating if starting from 2-8, and probably impossible (due to the bullet inventory) no matter what level you begin on. This is the smoking gun, even before considering the fact that 50 bullets is the default amount you start with (another coincidence!). As such, his Rolling Thunder scores need to be thrown out, at the very least, disregarding whatever validity there may or may not be to any of his other incredibly great achievements in the last few weeks (no-deathing Volcano world of Boulder Dash??? Damn...)
The prosecution rests...
I can understand throwing accusations under suspicions of cheating because there were some bad apples caught in the past. Billy Mitchell is probably the most popular example of that and exposing him was very good for the entire community but hey, you were just throwing guesses about how this game works and you are factually wrong here. Next time you accuse someone of cheating you better have absolutely hardcore evidence because if you are unsure (like here) you can create a very bad and disgusting situation for no reason. That was an extremely dick move on your side. Honestly if I was that stupid enough I wouldn't care and just manipulated my previous runs to almost 100% TAS levels of score according to that logic. Also you shouldn't throw arguments that are opinionated
-
Alright so whenever anyone posts unusually high score there is almost always at least 1 person who creates pressure and throws cheating accusations. Deservedly so

To anyone questioning the strat here you go enjoy. I recorded this in FCEUX emulator but I generally play on real hardware on a CRT which helps tremendously just like in Mike Tyson rather than those janky emulators under binbows. This is not the final run and it is just an educational example run. There is definitely enough time to always react so yep 1000% possible. You can rewind boring stuff. I recommend pausing every 50,000 or 100,000 points so you don't look at the TV for too long and get tired so you can get back, regain your focus and go into full zen mode. In case anyone challenges that submission I didn't use any sort of cheats, slowdown, save states, turbo controllers or any other tool assistance or anything illegal. I will also upload Commando pacifist later on

...For hours, without getting hit once?!?
(I think it was 1 hour in total of gameplay and I paused and took breaks in between but definitely possible)
BTW your scores in crapcom olympics are super sick. There is no way I would get this high if I had been playing it for a week!

@BlackVega Re: Rolling Thunder, you were supposed to put in the password for 2-8, not play from the start, or did you point scum somewhere for hours on end again?!?!?!
Nope input password 6127306 and started from 2-8. You spam the final boss

Me Cheetahmen2finalboss
I ROLLED THE SCORE HERE so in reality it is supposed to be 1004380. There was nothing stated in the rules about it but I think it should definitely count but in case it doesn't (I would be extremely disappointed) then here's another run below

Are you kidding me??? I guessed?? That was such a shot in the dark but those doom like sprites got me thinking of something. Well I will try to think of something and post something tomorrow. I have a few ideas but I prefer to give something that is not very easy

In the interest of Fair Play / Full Disclosure and so on I'd like to point out that I Modified a Jig-Saw and used it to press the A/B buttons for the Gold Medal Challenge Events. I didn't see anything in the rules against playing smarter in this fashion so I figured why not go for it. But of course I will concur with whatever ruling our two Benefactors feel is appropriate.......
You modified what? What the hell did you do here??? Generally speaking the rules disallow any sort of hardware acceleration and you are the one who is supposed to play the game. They don't need to be named specifically. You are essentially playing on steroids. This was fun and interesting to see and now delete your save and go play using a regular controller and your bare hands...
