There are many reasons why I used to hate Christmas and many other holidays. I was able to talk with professionals and its really up to YOU to decide what these days are like. If you want to go skiing on December 25th, you go skiing. If you want to be with loved ones and open presents, go ahead and do that. Find what makes YOU happen. I had to replace the feelings of old traditions with new ones. My GF and I decided to do a short trip each year, get an AirBnB and that was a great new tradition. I still am not super excited about Christmas but it is much less of a burden than in years past. Create your own tradition and have fun!

Oh Deniz, I saw his whole act for what it was years ago.
If they remove the human element from grading, it might be interesting. It is way too arbitrary right now. I guarantee if you give a game to 3 of their 'expert graders,' you would get 3 different grades. I have an old 'PSA 10 gem mint' baseball card that is clearly not centered. Until there is full transparency, Wata isn't grading the game, it's just some random person with hopefully 'some' training. I would be really curious of the process for the games getting the top grades, does anyone at the top sign off on the item that gets a 9.8 A++?

PSA doesn’t grade reprints of cards. I think wata should move away from grading rom hacks and other reproduction games, it muddies the waters of authentication vs just grading something.
I agree. Also, it lends itself to deceptive Ebay listings. I do not see the word 'Repro' or 'Rom Hack' anywhere in the text (or title) of the Ebay listing for this game. And it uses the phrase "This is a high quality way to own this version of Pokemon Crystal." The listing does say to make sure to look at the photos, but we know what they are trying to do here.
Very deceptive.

Today I would say Contra, but I could also say Mega Man 2 or MTPO.

Also, think about starting your own business or side business with writing or marketing.

I like to tell people that are looking for work or changing paths, find the companies that YOU want to work for. Reach out to them, try to set up an "informational interview" at the least, and learn more about them from someone who works there. Perhaps they are not hiring now, but they will remember you when they will. And they could potentially create a role for you. Take initiative.
I work part-time for a non-profit and I volunteered three times with them before the job interview.
Also if remote is the main selling point, you can search via Indeed for remote work.

They update the code for the new machines all the time. I saw a stream with the new James Bond pinball (that Stern is releasing soon), and they said the code is not even close to being finished. But perhaps that doesn't count as DLC in the traditional sense.

In the same vein, I have been chatting with a seller about this Spanish Pinball NES game. When I go to check out it says "seller will not ship to California, USA." But all other items in his store will ship just fine. Any one have any tips for this? I'm not sure why only this game wouldn't ship here. I tried the Spanish and English version of Ebay, same message.

I ordered because I am a sucker for GPK, $100 shipped with tax was a kick in the nuts though!
same. But I was able to get 10% if I signed up for text alerts on the Iam8bit site. It was around $87 for me shipped to California.

I have the Mega Man 2, Castlevania and I had the gold Legend of Zelda vinyl as well.
I sold the LOZ for $100 about 7 years ago.
Tough to price but that's my experience.

I grew up in Webster Groves so I know STL and Arnold well! I live in California now.
I have Mega Man 5 listed for $100 on OfferUp right now. Pics attached.
Feel free to make an offer on Mega Man 4 and Mega Man 6. I would be willing to sell those as well.
I have other stuff in storage in St. Louis. Let me know if you are interested (selling for cheap, I live in California now, so I would rather not bring this stuff back here). I sold a bunch to Bodach's Games last year when I was in town.
Feel free to send me a private message if you would like!
Golgo 13 CIB
California Games CIB
Ghostbusters cartridge
Gumshoe cartridge
Street Fighter 2010 cartridge
Volleyball cartridge
A few Famicom games
Atari 2600 + lots of games and storage (games center), controllers

Quick question. I've never seen that green NWC reproduction before. The one you described as "Nintendo World Championships NWC 1990 Retrozone Reproduction. Limited print run of 42, numbered 26. "
Was that the first run of the NWC Reproductions by Retrozone/RetroUSB? I have the blue one without dipswitches, individually numbered.
But I'm curious which one came first? Thank you in advance if you have any info.

Funny my Bucky has a ripped label at the top. And it had marker on it at one time. That explains that one for sure.
And I see now, yes the Mega Man games are down in price. So they do go up and down in price a bit.
Thanks for the comments, I hadn't been paying close enough attention to this.

Hello. I really noticed Bucky O'hare went up in price this year.
1. Curious why that game went up in price?
2. Also, any other NES games that seem to be going up in price?

great show

Question is when we will see the nostalgia boom for PS2? Maybe 5 or even 10 years ? Will the boom will be just as big as NES, SNES ? Like is Vice City gonna go up in price, like a $20 game? Will millennials ever care about getting their childhood PS2 and games etc. ??

I don't normally play a lot of racing games but Burnout 3 is indeed great.

I've been playing on Nesticle on my PC with an 8ibitdo wireless controller. I haven't had many glitches that ended my game.
The main glitches that I have seen are:
-clipping through a pipe
-reaching an area where you cannot progress forward (happened once or twice)
-blind jumps right into an enemy
-goomba stuck inside pipe
-koopas stuck together
-hard blocks on ceiling actually breakable
