Trying to post more often this year!
Picked up some deals from VGP and LRG
The top two games were both Woot / Amazon deals. Then the 3 ET games were a bundle on eBay that was listed for $49.95, I offered $40 and the seller accepted. They look like interesting obscure games, and one of these games is kind of hard to find. Also it's crazy that NewKidCo churned out 5 games with the ET license.
The PS2 demo discs I just went for on a whim because the one on the right has some cool demos (including Klonoa 2 and MTV Music Maker). And of course I'm still getting Nintendo Force in the mail!

The biggest wins are the plush, 2 zelda pieces, and rush which surprised me. They're all on display, again, NFS territory.
If were flipping again there were a ton of those old fox era cartoon xmen toys and vehicles in that same pile with other quality stuff including a few vintage tmnt things, whenever one of the usual local scalpers find it they'll grab the tray if they know what's good for them, if not both of the trays and some contents from the usual wall hangers too.
I wish you'd post a pic of these toys! Those are great finds, especially the Capcom toys.

Already have all of the AAA Mario / etc stuff but figured I'd ask on the cheap indie stuff. We did Untitled Goose Game, Uncooked 2 and other odd ones but I know some people in here have to have favorites.

Last pickup post of 2023! Some good stuff came in recently
A couple CIB GBPs
Various games, a neat carrying case for Switch carts, and my first ever Pokemon distribution cart. I waited a while for Krazy Racers to come down in price a bit, and Doom and the distribution cart I got in a trade! Cooking Mama and Touch Detective 2&1/2 were bought brand new from Amazon and eBay respectively, those can still be picked up for nice prices.

Sealed games, sealed Angora Rabbit plush which was a preorder bonus for Story of Seasons 3DS, sealed hard to find Squinkies 2 with the toys for DS.
A haul of NES stuff, with the first 3 games being sealed. I'm not planning to keep everything in this pic but I will be holding on to it for a while.
Sealed Raystorm, sealed EA Racing 3-pack, and CIB Steel Reign for PlayStation
My first Sega Dreamcast with a nice game I got for a decent price
and my first ever kiosk!
There were some more games that came in but nothing special, just some more Switch games. This is the good stuff!

Got all this for $800
The top row is all sealed. I plan to send the first 3 items to Wata when I do my first ever submission in the new year.
The High Frequency Control Pad is also sealed. Seems to be rare. Not seeing any listings for the NES pad.
Marble Madness is box only. The rest are CIB. Some of the games are in meh shape but that's OK. Funny enough, Swords and Serpents was one of the first games I had when I was a kid. No idea why I chose to buy that game. It was not fun.
I am not in a rush to sell anything. I will take my time and see what I end up doing.

1. If possible, in the paper category, if you could add Retro Gamer Magazine, Game Informer, and Nintendo Force, that would be nice.
2. Where's my strategy guide category?

I went in there a couple days ago and was able to pick up Akka Arrh (a game I somehow missed when it first went on preorder) and ended up getting the convention cover of Valis 2 and the VHS style River City Girls Zero without any issue.
Clearly LRG doesn’t inspire the same FOMO it used to because a lot of these items are still not sold out.

I got this nice complete copy of Pokemon XD for $167.12.
It has the shiny cover art, the poster, etc. Real nice shape!
Actually how I got it is a bit more complicated... let me explain... someone posted a trade request over on Reddit asking for a "new" 3DS or 2DS XL, saying they wanted to trade this as it had just been sitting on a shelf since they bought it. I was ready to make that trade, since I have a refurbished 2DS XL I've been planning to let go of and I didn't have this game. But then I was stressing about it because I'm pretty sure an unopened 2DSXL refurbished by Nintendo is worth even more than this. So after waffling about it for a while I decided to go look at Facebook Marketplace and see if there were any relevant deals. Sure enough, I found a local listing for a 2DS XL in great shape with charger and stylus for just $160. I contacted the seller and we were able to meet up. I then got in touch with the guy on Reddit and he agreed to the trade. So after $7.12 for shipping (and quite a bit of legwork, and some gas which I will not bother to tally), I acquired the Pokemon XD! And I still have my refurbished 2DS XL which I might sell eventually
Yeah this is kind of ridiculous work to save a bit vs eBay prices but lately I rarely find good trade opportunities or good deals so it was kind of fun to make this happen.
