Nice to see you find your way on here man!
And don't worry, we're building a very neat altar where we can all come together and worship Gloves (Yeah, I know... Gloves, we couldn't find better than that
).

@Br81zad I like the purple and teal - looks nice! I've been having fun with my Sage design, so I made a run-cycle to go along with it. Can anyone confirm if the GIF is playing on your browsers?

That's totally awesome, but, man... sages don't run, they walk, and at their own pace

Great to have you here Tom!

The 2/3 'No' ratio we have so far is quite telling of the 'pressure' of self censorship that the members felt on NA about anything discussed about WATA. All threads looked to be overly positive, but it seems that it didn't reflect the general sentiment of the community. Maybe we come off a little anti-WATA from the context surrounding the launch of VGS, but still, I'm sure people feel more comfortable to voice their personal opinion about this on here VS there.
I can say for myself that I hold some of my criticism because I didn't want to argue with multiples replies trying to deny my opinions.

@guillavoie has a cocktail glass icon by his name.
Man, until a minute ago, I had no idea what that icon was representing. But now I think it is a heralding trumpet, which would go with the kingdom theme of the staff icons (Admin = Crown, Mod = Shield, Editorial = Scripture, Event = Heralding Trumpet - Homebrew = Tankard).
Gloves's making me feel so smart about myself right now, lol.

I really wish they would have made a sequel of StarTropics for the SNES, but the hope of having anything related to that franchise is dead for so long there's really nothing to expect.
I wish they'd do some Kid Icarus sequels in the same spirit as the original and the GB one, not that Uprising thing. SNES era or GBA era would have been a nice time to do so, but nobody at Nintendo's headquarter seem to be listening to me whining about it.

Will we get icons again?
We'll be working on that for sure skinny, and I'd like to restore all the contest icons from NA in a way or another.

Any ideas what the 2020 games might be? My collection is really small, and I'd like to expand it and participate in the weekly contest.
We'll try to work on a schedule in January and reveal it sooner than later. The contest usually starts off in lateJanuary/Early February, which gives time to buy games played in the early weeks if needed.

Hey man! Glad to see you coming on here!
I see you're still in Japan, things are going good for you there?

Look for a red WAK
Okay, I'm stupid, I somehow totally missed the picture where you clearly highlight it.

Also, for transparency, our cost automatically upgraded during the night, because we are having too much of a blast on here and averaging more than 70 users online in the last 48 hours! That means more cost, but it is very good news for the activity of the site

That's so great to have you (back!) here Tonya
And I'm sure you're going to kick some ass in the contests anytime soon

Wow, congrats for sealing a deal on this Dan, that's Amazing. And it looks so sharp!
Where is the red signature, I can't seem to find it, even on the close-up pic?

Yeah, word. https://sites.google.com/site/zeldarandomizer/
There's a lot of randomizers out there now. I also like, but haven't been playing much of, the Zelda 2 randomizer, FF1, Dragon Warrior.... I guess programmers don't have to work hard and have an extremely large amount of free time to make trivial bullshit for us? It's probably true.
Also hi.
It seems that they have the time to care about poor lads like us that are stuck playing through LoZ for the 47th times, without necessarily giving it a new meaning.

Really, it depends on the flags. There's a lot of possible combinations to play around with. There are some pretty easy combinations, though, and you can knock a game out darn quick if you chose to go that way.
eta: I'm talking about FF4FE, I have no experience with the other one, Lunarian Project or whatever
Well well well, look who's here posting and all dandy. Very glad to see you around Phil, and that FF4FE looks very interesting, I didn't know this was a thing (and there's a Zelda one too?).
I'll need to procrastinate on this whenever I'm supposed to work on the computer.

This was Uncharted Waters (NES) for years, but I beat it legit about 2 weeks ago! Felt good to finally finish that game of sailing in patience.
-
I'll go with team StarTropics in this thread, because there is so much charm in preferring the NES franchise that never got any reboot outside of the NES lifespan. Not even a mention in Super Smash Bros. trophies and stuff, right?

This looks like a lot of fun, might participate in 2020! Are EverDrives allowed alongside PowerPaks, as long as savestates are not used?
Of course, everdrive and powerpak are on the same regulation, using it (with no advantage over a conventional NES system) is the basic rule to observe.
-
Great setup here Jorge, and with that Powerpak you're all set to jump back in the Weekly Contest competition

I'm so glad to see you find your way on here Megan, it's been so long we haven't heard of you. That's relief to know you're well and dandy!
The Weekly NES Contest is moving on here as well, we"ll start the 2019 finals in a week or two. I hope you'll stick around and maybe play in the contest in 2020! You were a big part of it when you played, people will totally love see you back (even the new players know you!)![🙂](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/twitter/twemoji@14.0.2/assets/72x72/1f642.png)
