  1. Here is the rest of my sealed games, of which maybe half(ish) of them I will get graded or it will be worth to get graded.
  2. my SMB was 2 months but thats because it was put in a 'verification' bin because I incorrectly guessed on the declared value
  3. are they really going to take 35% of the final price? Thats outrageous. for the $660K game that sold, the buyer payed HA $110k and you are saying the seller paid them $150k(ish)??
  4. yeah I probably should have asked again in hindsight - maybe there were afraid of tearing the seal. Not sure what their policy is on sending it back to get the sticker off. probably whats done is done.
  5. yeah and doing an auction with a reserve fee is ridiculous. 7.5% fee whether you sell it or not. someone mentioned highway robbery on the first page. That sure is IMO.
  6. no I asked them about the sticker on the phone - in this instance it would have been better to just leave it. I think it has to do with the placement of the sticker and other variables.
  7. @kell I just realized after reading the ebay docs on seller limits - is that that only applies to LISTING amounts. In other words you can start an auction with a reserve amount and what the item ultimately goes for can be higher than your seller limit. So if your seller limit is $10,000 you can start the auction at $0.01 and have a reserve at $20,000. If the reserve is met (and even if you get more, than thats ok. )
  8. Hello all! I will go ahead and put this in here - since I am having an issue with Ebay right now (with their ridiculous seller limits I cant put the 'Buy It Now' price I want to because its over my current limit... ugggh). While I am trying to work that out with them I will go ahead and put the description I had on there to see if there might be someone in here willing to purchase it. I have a price in my head that I would like to get for it and then one that I would ultimately accept. We all know the NES Sealed games are ridiculously going up in price with the SMB sealed carts leading the way. This is a Super Mario Bros. NES/Nintendo Factory Sealed game that has been graded by WATA. This is a 9.4/B+ NM overall grade from a very rare variant that only lasted for 4 months - from September 1987 to December 1987. This is the only production run that doesn't have a hang tab and is Non Rev-A. It is also 2 production runs older than the introduction to the Oval Seal. This is in EXCELLENT condition for being 34 years old coupled with this variant. I took photos inside and outside to give you different looks and angles. I am offering FREE SHIPPING Fed-Ex overnight(or whatever shipping you want), with the game put into a plastic sleeve that is zipped, wrapped in double bubble wrap and in peanuts. (see last photo!)Please let me know if you have any questions and/or DM me with an offer.
  9. @kellThanks! did you see the pics? I did message @askEbay on twitter to see if I can get a hold of someone. what is a certified link?
  10. It looks like that I cannot sell it on Ebay for the buy it now price that I have set because I have a monthly seller limit. Thats the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. It looks like you have to have a long long history of selling items before they will increase your limit. (my current limit is $25k). What if someone (that isn't a business) just has a high priced item to sell? Been looking for a way to contact an actual ebay 'agent' but haven't found it yet. Any suggestions?
  11. I got the game from Fed Ex this morning so I posted pics in the graded games forum.
  12. I just got this one back from WATA!: SMB - production run #7, the only non-rev A without a hangtab
  13. That particular one that sold is almost the same grade as mine but 3 production runs newer. I am at a loss of what to set for mine now as a Buy It Now or reserve.
  14. I also have various other non-games items sealed. I have about 5 or 6 Sealed M.U.S.C.L.E men garbage cans, about 5 or 6 of the hangtab versions sealed, a whole box of 15th Series Garbage Pail kids, every package sealed (gum and all). Those arent going to go for astronomical numbers but I've been thinking about parting with them.
  15. haha I dont have a sealed Punchout but I have more games to grade including: Mega Man 2 Mega Man 3 (yellow stripe with no text, not sure how much rarer those are?) Mega Man 4 Mega Man 5 Mega Man 6 Super Mario 3 (x2) Rad Racer Blades of Steel (Earlier version, Black Seal) Pacman Namco Karate Champ Star Wars (JVC) TMNT TMNT 2 Superman Life Force Gradius Theres more but thats some of the main ones I have.
  16. you talking about my game? If you do know someone who will then ill give you a $500k cut.
  17. Actually that episode on pawn stars - he didnt give him a value. I believe for that game there was "no ceiling". Based on the SMB that sold for $660K which was a later run that the one on pawn stars (I think), the $1 Million that guy was asking probably isnt too far off considering its the only one sealed with that variant at near perfect condition. Also, Pawn Stars is scripted for the most part so all the people that are on there are for the show to make money and the sellers to get visibility. So take that for what it's worth.
  18. I have no doubt that its probably worth as much as they say: check out this e-bay listing that sold. https://www.ebay.com/itm/NES-Sealed-Super-Mario-Bros-H-Seam-Original-Shrink-Wrap-Nintendo-Case-Included-/393222846631?hash=item5b8de878a7%3Ag%3AkyYAAOSwTMxgXoIs&nma=true&si=uH5ThZn3Dzj2qExjKMXyXsZfuFA%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 the box is a little creased at the top(definitely not as good as mine), 2 runs past mine(variation 9 i think) and is not even graded and it sold for $25k. A deal is a deal - they say on their website 2% of the declared value over $2,500. So its not like he called me and made something up.
  19. Hey all, Just a quick question, to make sure I am not being scammed here. I sent in a Sealed Super Mario to Wata almost 2 months ago. Its the 7th production run variant (Sept - Dec 1987) - First Party H-Seam/No Rev-A and came in at a 9.4/B+. My initial declared value was way too low and so it turns out my game has been in the 'verification' bin. So they called me and said that my declared value was way too low and that they called 3 different dealers to get a feel for the value. He said that that was customary for them to do this to try to come up with a declared value. For those more in the know - is this true? I know that the NES Sealed games, especially the Super Mario sealed has gone up through the stratosphere but he said of the 3 dealers that he called - the minimum value was $75k and the maximum was $95k. Thats the buy price - not what they would sell it for. He said he would just make the 2% surcharge $1,000 with no extra cost to fed ex it overnight. (I already got the tracking number.). I havent paid the $1k yet via paypal, he said he would go ahead and send it to me anyway because its been so long waiting. Any thoughts?
