I like using http://www.vgcollect.com. It already has a huge database and you can add games that are not already in it, it has separate collection, wishlist, selling, backlog and currently playing pages. I can write in notes and other details like when purchased, cost, and a checklist for cart, box manual, and other inserts each each title, and I like the interface. Once you do add your lists on there, you can export it into Excel. It also has a decent mobile version.

    Here's a sample page (not mine): https://www.vgcollect.com/scott

This one is great, not just NA focused. I have had a hard time since my collection is all over EU, NA, and japan. The apps that I have tried all kind of suck. Browsing function would be better like when I was searching for Mega Man, it showed many digital releases that would have been great to have a filter. Could be that it offers more functions in PC then phone where I was testing it out

Yeah I feel lucky because the games I want sealed are mainly game boy advance, which are much more accessible. still not great, but better than the OG mega mans. 😄 have a sub-series you're after in particular?

For sure the OG are not really flooding the market in sealed condition. I have been focusing mostly on the handhelds, but grabbing decent deals here and there.

Solomon's Key 2 is the floss. It's probably in my top 10 games as well, if not my top 5.

Even though i really love platforming games there is just something really satisfying sitting back and doing the puzzles with no time running out(except the boss level)It’s one of the games that i think is under appreciated

I'd read that the action replays sometimes cause issues. But yeah action replay is also a great option if they're reliable.

I actually have no personal experience with it, just saw it had good reviews and it is easier process then modding to just stick a cartridge in the cd based machine(which sounds so odd)and it does magic.

If you're planning to play all regions I do recommend getting it modded too. Seeing as you already have some heavy hitters out of the way for Japan I'm guessing you'll be grabbing some of the US ones as well?

There's a surprisingly large amount of games that require little to no English in the Japanese library, which is good. I have a list of around 250 games I do eventually want to get (at around 80 so far) and they consist of platformers, shmups, puzzle games, fighting games, beat 'em ups and racing car games. This system rocks if you love those types of games.

You going to grab this beast?:

CV | Sega Saturn Virtua Stick Pro

Why not just get action replay and skip the modding?

I might be wrong that you might have some better options with a modded one

  6. I just bought a saturn with couple of games from japan two weeks ago from yahoo it will be here in 2-3 months.

Then I ordered action replay because i own couple of european saturn games.

Looking into expanding my japanese library of language light games.

Hey guys, found the SN30's on the 8bitdo official Aliexpress website: 8BitDo SN30 2.4G Wireless Gamepad for Original SNES/SFC (SN/SF/Transparent Edition) Super NES|Gamepads| - AliExpress

I think they are slightly more expensive then what Amazon were selling them for but not by much. I ended up ordering one and got free shipping 🙂

    Great, thanks. Just ordered!

  8. It is quite dubious, but yes i noticed some damage which i was fine with. But this was a bit over the top just getting it in this state + the seller denying any part of it. If people would be nice and sorry about it i would have just dropped it. But when this arrogant french guy just behaves this way i will not just leave it be.

I can probably get it in decent shape by folding it and putting some big books on top. His behaviour draws it out a part of me that just wants to just throw it back in the envelope with the super protective paper plastic and ship it back, if ebay sides with me which they usually do.

    Thanks for the input guys

    Okay that's just bs.

"two layers of paper pubble", wth is that gonna do? You need a sturdy cardboard box to protext a fragile box like that. You can't sell stuff like this and not be aware of that. 100% seller's fault.

Also if there are pictures on the listing, and the item you got is way more damaged than the pictures showed, then you didn't get the item you paid for.

Don't give up on this one, seller sounds like a jerk.

I wont give up, never found a paper bubble nor could i find it. But yes ok there was a single extra layer of bubble wrap on each side, but that does not protect anything.
There is evidence in the listing of it before it was shipped.
