    Secret Key is definately a hard one to find, but you are right about it being one of the more rare ones to find undamaged. Shaymin/Regigigas is another of those that I think I've hardly ever seen undamaged. 

    All of the distribution carts have definately been slowly going up, but it had been a while since we've see an auction for some of the undamaged carts. I have a feeling it would be hard to estimate the values of many of these carts now, but obviously the multiplier for an undamaged cartridge matters quite a lot for collectors.

    I am sure you saw the recent sale of Arceus for $4,500 right? I talked to the seller and buyer paid. HOLY CRAP.

    So I just confirmed myself what I was thinking before that there are dozens upon dozens of collectors now for distribution carts and listed Secret Egg a few days ago for $789 thinking there is no way it will sell and I started to get a ton of offers. Secret Egg used to go for $40 IN AUCTION. Around 9 people then messaged me asking for other distribution carts overwhelming me. I'm still stunned right now.

     

    Now I have realized I'll probably have to fork a ton of money for Dragonite or hope to trade Areceus for it. I know you are also only missing Dragonite still right?

    Super sweet deal considering how much I was going to fetch for one. Plus locally too so who knows how much saved on shipping. 🙂 I also got a Skyward Sword display, but have to put it together. Very challenging display to put together. Will share once I figure it out lol!

    That's actually ~the same number I've had for a while, as I've both had to slow down on my Switch collecting for a bit while I settle some rather pricy sign/display deals, and I've also sold/traded a few "physically large+low priority" titles to make space in the game room (Valkyria Chronicles 4 comes to mind, with the giant CE box used to house a tiny plastic tank), as I'm pretty much totally out of space to display things and having to constantly "Tetris" things around to make them fit.

    That's good you slowed down so I can catch up to you. I'm at 1073 😛 JK. Either way INSANELY gorgeous collection. Those WOW displays are a gold mine making the game room perfect. Btw, curious on the lighting for your ceiling? Just LED strip? Look like the universe up there. Very neat setup.

    Yeah I saw that too and was surprised seeing I do own a couple of extras myself I kept for trading. It definitely has to do with it being uncut and original. It seems like there are a lot more collectors for these carts now and with so many of those restored and unoriginal ones flooding the market, it makes it that harder to find it original.  If you have kept track on Keldeo, even that one is going up and there are so many of those out there that I remember were going for $50.

    From my experience though, Secret Key is actually very rare to find it authentic. I have seen more Deoxys and Jirachi distributions than Secret Key. Most of the original ones are cut, but working. So the price is actually not surprising at all with what these carts are going for now. Plus collectors are not the ones buying the restored ones anyways.

    Let me tell you I am so glad I got some of those super rare ones like Shaymin and Arceus before this jump lol! I know Shaymin USA sold for around $1700 in a last auction so now it would probably be worth a lot more.

    Anyone notice that there is an influx of Attack on Titan Final Battle (ESRB) brand new on eBay? Was there a reprint or it was just some warehouse find or something since some people have so many in stock. Either way finally got that game added to the collection! Only heavy hitter I was missing. Keeps going lower and lower in price new so hopefully that can drive preowned price down and give people a chance.

    Probably some of you for sure are watching this already, but this seems like a big deal since I haven't seen so much popularity over a prototype like this one since I started collecting 2013. Over 500 watchers and $11k+ bid at time of this post. Now just curious on its history (description says it was suppose to be released with the Power Glove). Definitely a neat historic piece for sure even though it's not a playable prototype in terms of gameplay.

    Was gonna post the same thing. I tried to get the last auction with my bid at $5k thinking I had it and even that was not enough. Now I am kicking myself not getting it at $2k but that time I didn't have the money for it even at $1k. Ah well. Hoping one of these days I can get it somehow since I would love to have the N64 NFR set complete (still missing Super Smash Bros. as well though) Too many people are after it though.

    At last, finally got the mystical PS5 that I always thought was a myth. Last Playstation was PS3 for me, so wanted to really try this one out. Thank you Amazon's invitation system. Now to find some must play games. Won't collect for PS5, just want to get games that are enjoyable to play like the Spider-man game was one I've wanted to play for some time now. 🙂 The Horizon game that came with it is really awesome so far.  If anyone is still looking for one for MSRP, Amazon is the way to go.

    Just sucks. So sorry you guys had a bad experience. I really don't understand what they are thinking with making this a store exclusive on such a buggy and flawed website that has no capabilities for such a demand. It was by some complete luck that mine had a button to finally click on to purchase after refreshing the cart over a zillion times.
