    Like this.
You see a drop in FPS from 60 to 30.
Maybe scenarios isn't the right word, maybe "area" is a better one.

I see what you mean there.  I feel like I probably noticed it, too, but it just didn't bother me.  Of course, this was also my first time playing the game, so I could have just been biased.

  2. I love RPGs/Strategy Games.  I'm a big SNES fan, but I have enjoyed several over the years on multiple platforms.  I could give you a top 10 list, but I wouldn't know how to rank them.  But, they would include:

    Lufia II

    Shadow Hearts Covenant

    Suikoden II

    Chrono Trigger

    Actraiser

    Crusader of Centy

    Ogre Battle

    Terranigma

    Final Fantasy X

    Final Fantasy VIII

  3. I just beat Link's Awakening on Switch.  That game is amazing.  I read that there were some performance issues, but I never experienced any of those.  Now I'm working on Ni No Kuni.  I was debating between that and Astral Chain, but Ni No Kuni grabbed me faster.

Generally these days I go to ebay and do the work myself. Since the game valuation sites only go by sold listings, they may not quiiiite accurately represent the current trends. For instance a game that doesn't sell a lot (perhaps a rare title) can have a "value" from up to a few YEARS ago. According to GVN Spanky's Quest on SNES CIB is only $35 or so USD. I'd drop that right this instant if someone had a CIB copy for sale in good shape; realistically it's actually valued about twice that.

Agreed on that.  It would be cool to have a feature on a new site where the data is overridden after a certain amount of time rather than included into an average

It would be, but the problem is that these sites (PC / GVN) benefit from their longevity.  If you start now, you miss out on all of the prior data the other sites have.

And it also strikes me as a monumental task, not easy to build eBay scraping API tools with flashy interfaces.  Hogie poured in thousands upon thousands of hours into that site.  I helped him with some of the manual overrides (reviewing the flagged listing each day), but even after a few weeks of that I told him I just didn't have the time.

Is there no way to mine historical data on Ebay once the tools are in place?  I know absolutely nothing about the process, so purely just asking to understand.  I don't doubt that Rick poured that much time into it, and I certainly don't blame him for cashing his check.  I just think that because of GoCollect's handling of the site so far, it will go the way of NA and I think there is a huge need for that data, and for it to be as accurate as possible.  That is what I don't think PC has going for it.  You just look at all the the shit that it is pulling in to it's pricing averages and you can tell it's not going to be accurate.

  6. I think it would be great to give GVN a run for it's money.  I'd be willing to help input games similar to what I did at GVN.  It's time consuming, but I know nothing of website design, programming, Ebay API, etc. so I don't feel like I could help in that way.  BUT, how cool would it be to have a collection database that actually provided values as well?

I'm just really looking forward to Luigi's Mansion 3. I am literally counting the hours to this game's release. The Gamecube one is just perfect in scare and play factor. With how amazing Super Mario Odyssey was, I expect this to be awesome as well. Even got the F4F statue for this release.

I'm excited about it, too.  Although I'm afraid to admit that I've never played either of it's predecessors.  I ordered the PAL edition from GAME with the glow in the dark Steelbook.
