My only issue is that you seem to be putting small scuffs/marks on the same level as actual creases in the box
That has been the biggest moving part in the scorecard, we have had scratches, wrinkles and creases as 3 separate categories at one point and every other combo. I agree they shouldn’t be together as creases are more detrimental to overall condition. Probably need to have creases as a category and wrinkles/scratches as another. Besides the big manual difference one thing that makes the Top Gun box and 10-Yard Fight box closer in grade is corners, especially on the back, minor wear on four corners brought down 10YF but TG is strong there. Need to tweak handling corners I think, too much sportscard background influence probably.
Appreciate the feedback.- 1

Lol, @VideoGameGradersLLC has finally proved his worth, and so we've immediately turned on each other!
It’s a good thing I didn’t show a sealed game.

10-Yard Fight 84
See grade math on the worksheet.
I want to do something different (as you've all hammered on - rightfully so) but is a non 100 point based scoring system too confusing? Do I need always show not just score but grade on the label of each individual part?? Just thinking out loud, I'm sure you'll have opinions - which I do appreciate most of the time.

Super Mario Bros. 2 grading sheet.
73 Overall
Because I know the scoring system will take a lot of heat as it's new and not how the other guys do it, if you want a per piece grade equivalent, you'll have to do math. Don't rack your brain I did it for you.
Box 92/120 equates to 76.6
Man 26/40 equates to 65
Cart 28/40 equates to 70

I will begin updating a few games that were part of our testing. If you look very closely you'll notice some minor tweaks within this group as we continue to fine tune. Despite how some commentary in this lively chat makes it seem we are not opening our doors tomorrow, we are still early in the process. Here comes what you've been asking for, can't wait to see how this goes....

Also, I find it strange that you haven't propagated the link to your survey to any other potential customer bases
I have and will do more. Other outreach so far has been in private groups.

For a guy who seems to really hate sarcasm and mockery, you seem to do a lot of it.

Grade a damn game. Show us pics of the Game, Box and Manual, and tell us what you would grade them and why. No label. No case. Show us your grading chops.
Since you asked nicely I will do that. I’m sure you’ll all be fair and constructive with feedback.

I will drop some images of the label draft for you all to make fun of tomorrow.
There are several early sketches on Indiegogo if you’d like to get a head start.

The sad thing is, this is literally more substance than we've seen from the OP to this point...
What would you like to see?
Spec case drawings with detailed measurements, materials options, tolerances, costs? Maybe I should just drop the STP file I’ve invested over $1200 (so far) to get made? Maybe the security features we’re working on?

Ok I got this, here's a whole offering that is unique, and able to make you $$$: budget grading.
People send you their loose nes carts. By a shrink-wrap machine and reproduction boxes, make those loose games whole and sealed.
Then grade those puppies, guarantee the buyer a gold grade 10 if they pay a higher fee. Market it as a great way to pick up lady friends, impress colleagues, and grow your epeen.
Next logical step, have an appraising service for these games. Take more money from this new market of collectors. I mean, why buy smelly oldies that smell like mold and arse, when you can get perfectly mint items for half the price?
Pair it with an auction house. I've heard that George McKass and Jessie de la Beech both have some nice options.
That's money in the back right there, slogan can be "Financial constraints, make a mint" . A new way of collecting brought to you by @VideoGameGradersLLC
What is money in the back?

But at the very least if I had a number from a recognized professional to give to the insurance company
Understand the need but you think getting the public game collecting crowd to trust you good luck with an insurance company trusting anybody new or that they haven't worked with (in bed with) for 100 years.

BUT, an appraisal service would be incredibly appealing to me. I have money in-hand ready to go if someone can provide that to me, literally right now.
Doesn’t seem like the market is nearly mature enough for that and changing incredibly fast.
