HO OH you're a 5 screw collector. That's pretty badass, my tip for you is to just type in "mega man 6 purple border" and "mega man 6" on ebay, have it set to newly listed and save the searches. That is how I got my gross dinged up capcom mm6. Also look on Facebook retro groups and ask around there, you can find a lot of good stuff there. If you do find any spare capcom mm6 carts that are in good shape let me know, I really need one in good shape.

Hahaha...yes I'm already doing the ebay thing with the save stuff...and I think I will try out the facebook groups ...I'm still really new at this forum thing...I finally learned how to respond to posts 2 days after I joined up here haha...and as far as finding any good mm6 capcom's hahahaha...I would settle for the worlds worst copy at this point let alone 2 good copies hahaha

  2. You guys are hilarious...ok...so I'm looking from $200 too $500 range "IF" I am able to find someone willing to sell or trade for it...alrighty...at least now I have a reference point haha...here I was thinking it was going to be a ridiculous number like a Stadium Events ridiculous number haha... can you please tell "Frank" or whoever is out there listening that that $400 to $500 seems pretty fair if they would consider selling their copy of the capcom mega man 6...and if "Frank" or whoever else out there has a copy and they want to trade so they aren't down a game...I'm more then willing to trade out of my collection for the first time....I have a few titles that aren't so easy to get a hold of even for the best collectors...so maybe they've had it long enough and would consider trading for something new and different 😁

I got rid of the mega man 6 capcom cart but I still have the brazil mega man 6, mainly looking for flintstones dino peak box but that's way too out of brazil mega man 6's actual value.

Wow...the flintstones box is in itself a white whale of a find...I wish I could help you out with that one buddy...are you sure you couldn't settle for a stadium events box hahaha...probably easier to find haha....anyways all joking aside thank you very much for responding to me...seeing your post is probably the closest I've been to the elusive capcom mega man 6...I'm not a millionaire and I'm not super computer savvy so finding it has been the hardest and most frustrating thing I've ever done...the brazil cart you have is still very interesting and pretty cool not gonna lie haha...I have no earthly idea what its actual worth is or if you would even consider getting rid of it...but if so by all means please let me know...it would be a very welcome addition to my home...as for the actual american version that you sold...if you know that person or that person is apart of this group, please tell them that someone is very interested in that game...to buy, trade, or even just to gain a little more knowledge to help me out on my quest, It would be very much appreciated...thank you very much again, just getting a response has made my day 😁😁😁

1/19/2020: I recently moved and have been starting to look for finds locally in the new neighborhood.  Saw a local estate sale pop up on Craigslist that was about 15 min away.  It had games and consoles buried in the pictures with no words to alert other buyers.  I emailed beforehand but never got a response.  Pics of the sale included.

Sale started at 11:00 and I showed up around 9:45.  To my dismay, there were about 10-12 cars waiting on the country road for the sale to start already.  People were walking up to the house too so I rushed out of my car and headed up there.  Someone working the sale had post it notes that were numbered so you could hold your place in line.  I got number #25 and was so bummed that over an hour early was such a bad draw.  But right then the worker found another post it that someone tossed aside for #11 and he swapped me for the 25 that he had given me.  Thank god.

11:00 rolls around and everyine starts lining up.  From the chatter in line, it seems like most people knew each other from estate saling.  There were the jewelry guys.  The tools guys.  The DVD/Bluray people.  The toys guys.  I was blown away by the whole thing.  I was used to regular estate/garage sales where you just show up and browse.

The first 25 people are allowed in and I get in.  I peeked inside and knew where not to go for the games.  I zipped upstairs and found them waiting on a table with no one else in there.  I scooped up what I knew i wanted with good prices.  Someone came in right after me and grabbed the only good Genesis games (Phelios CIB, Altered Beast CIB, Sonic 1 CIB) and the Saturn console and Genesis console.  Both consoles were overpriced but losing those 3 Gensis titles stung.  I gather everything and start pulling out games I dont want (Rad Racer, Bases Loaded, Wrestlemania, etc).  I didnt think to get rid of the Light Gun and the Max controllers so I overpaid on those.  I browsed some more and found 3 Beatles 45s for $1 each.

Overall, I paid $112 for everything pictured below.  The NES and Gameboy both work great.  One of the Saturn games still has the receipt from Funcoland in 1997.  The Rad Racer glasses, NES 18 game rack, and Sega Netlink adapter were all cool odds-and-ends that were free with everything.  A pretty great haul that wouldn't have been possible if the worker didnt swap out my post it number.  At least now I know to be 2 hours early for any future sale ran by this estate selling company.

  5. Hey guys...you have been awesome...your levels of knowledge are quite amazing...I know coming in here as a new guy and asking about such a rare variant may rub a few people the wrong way since this seems like a tight knit community where a lot of you have known each other for quite a while...let me say again you guys have been great...very classy, very helpful!!! I know searching for this mega man 6 variant is going to be beyond tough but if you never ask out the prom queen then your chances of dating the prom queen is 0 😁

  6. I am willing to buy this mega man 6 variant but in my experience most collectors like me want to trade so we aren't really losing a game out of the collection...either way is fine for me this time...I'm very serious about finding and acquiring this mega man 6 variant so any help or any leads would be very much appreciated...thank all of you...you've all been so much nicer and been more helpful then anywhere else I have looked...a lot of class in here...I mean that...have a good one everybody!!!

  7. I appreciate all your help, I really do...i will think about the bounty thing, you bring up some good points about that...I know its pretty rare and I have a monumental task ahead of me to find one, but if I dont at least try it will haunt me and thanks to people like you I get closer and closer to it every day...the next hurdle is what on earth is it even worth haha...I guess it's worth what someone is willing to give it up for...I'm hoping the person that has one is willing to trade something they have never had for it...I have a few rare items myself that I can put on the table that other serious collectors have never been able to acquire....I will give the bounty thing some thought and if I decide yes I will post it on here in that section you recommended in the next day...thank you again and your experience and help us ALWAYS welcome

  8. You've just helped me more then anyone else has in 6 months...THANK YOU...and a "bounty" I'm assuming that's where i name a price or a trade and then wait to see if someone can come up with the mega man 6 for me...where would the best place for me to do something like that...on this site? Somewhere else? I really wasnt joking about me being terrible at this forum stuff haha...I'm sure I have things I could use for trade...I just dont know exactly where and what to say...I pretty much got laughed off reddit...so I'm kind of at everyone mercy ...so what I'm saying is yes...the bounty thing...I want to do that.......how 😁😁😁

  9. This forum stuff is all new to me...you all are much more advanced at this then me...its hard following who's saying what...but that's why I'm here asking for some help...please bare with me...is there a better place I should be asking for help and should I go about this in a different way...I mean...I have no idea how to set up an Ebay alert to find an N7 variant of tecmo basketball or how to search Brazil for a mega man 6 😥...I do appreciate what you guys have said so far...I'm trying bare with me

  10. Hello...I collect variants for Nes games...I know its tedious and it's all been done before but I'm doing it...there are many very hard to find variants but the two that are giving me the most trouble finding are Tecmo NBA Basketball NES-N7-USA and Mega Man 6 Capcom USA-G6-USA...if anyone could help me out in anyway it would be much appreciated...obviously I'm willing to buy or trade with anyone for these two variants...but any info to where best to look for them or a buddy that has one and might want to sell or trade would help me out a lot...I've looked for months and months and I dont know where else to turn....so thank you guys and happy collecting 😁
