So from what it seems like, the same game sealed one with slip cover and another without wouldn’t be a deterrent for most collectors possibly? ESP if sealed game was sent in for grading without the slip cover? This is sort of what I was thinking myself, however if it wasn’t graded or it was a CIB then I assume people WOULD want this cover if possible?

What is the community take on these? Just personal preference? I sort of like the idea of having them in good condition, however if I were to have graded (which of these I do not yet) I would assume I would just submit the copy itself. Thoughts?

I have been following these games recently as I stumbled across their crazy prices. It appears these are legit sales due to the amounts of bids. I picked up a copy for $23 hoping it was legit and I had hit on something luckily but I do not know for sure if this is true. I understand the first are graded, but even the lone copy is $150 and I’ve seen PS3 versions go for $250. Here are some completed listings. I have seen Vice City, GTA 3 and San Andreas all in the similar price ranges.

I found some games that I have wanted in my collection for some time, however the current owner put colored 1” circle stickers on them for inventory purposes. I think at some point I’d be able to find them again as they are not super valuable games, but just curious if anyone has had experience with these cleaning services and sticker removal. Please share!

Would there be a way to find out if a black label game had this seal? Or does that not matter to the black label title?

I am looking at some sealed PS2 games to add to my collection and I see some with the holographic type sticker seal along the top while others do not have this. Were these seals added or removed at a later date or are these ‘sealed’ games not actually factory sealed and they are reseals?

I know PS3 is still relatively new, but some of their games are worth some money - Uncharted the main one I want to get graded, however I don’t see that they do PS3 games on their website - then I see Uncharted on eBay? So does anyone know if they do or do not grade PS3 and newer games?

I have collected several of my favorite PS2 and PS3 games and I have started picking up PS4 games as I know they will become as hard to find at some point as the PS2-PS3 etc. Anyways, I want to send some in for grading. I have been searching on eBay and have found several VGA/WATA games. Do pretty much all completely sealed games get at least an 80 if the box is also in good shape? I also don't completely understand how a sealed game can have a score of an 80 from VGA? It seems WATA is a bit more accurate with A++ seals correlating to game condition - let me say that I am completely new to submitting sealed games though. I just like that WATA grades the seal AND the game. The other thing I am questioning is the 'Deep "badge" seal' from WATA. It seems cool yes, but does anyone here or collector wise even care? I mean you know inside that a 9.0 would achieve this so even those without it technically still have the "invisible Deep badge" seal, so what's the point - other than money?

All physical based media from today will be lost to bit rot so nobody is going to want it unless they're collecting games they can't play.
This makes me sad. It’s already going that way too. I personally love physical discs and having the actual item.

When us guys and gals who grew up with Atari, Sega, Nintendo, Dreamcast are in our 70s what will todays collectibles bring? Kids born today and in the past who never had any of these consoles never played or even know what these are... just had me thinking so wanted to hear the communities thoughts.

I have seen numerous videos on how to clean cartridges but is there a BEST/RECOMMENDED cleaning? I do not want to damage pins. I’ve seen people wipe both vertically with pins and horizontally. Have read NOT to wipe horizontally. Also have seen multiple cleaning products use. This is the expert community, share a video or some tips and tricks for cleaning. Thanks much.

@ConsoleCollector88 any further info regarding quality etc. you're looking for would help us help you. But in general know that this is not an uncommon title.
Yeah I am looking for sealed VG/VG+ condition actually. I know that factors in price I was just curious as I found sealed ranging from $40-$150

There are like 20 copies on eBay ranging from $45-$150. Some have watchers while others just aren’t selling. Is there something I’m missing? I am looking to purchase, and other than condition they all appear the same. I just don’t want to spend $150 if I can get same for $50-$70. Any and all input appreciated. Thanks.

It's possible to get lose discs back in place without opening the case. I don't know whether either grading company would perform this service, but I would guess no. I have no idea if they figure it into the grading, but regardless, keep in mind, there is nothing preventing the disc from becoming lose after the game has been slabbed.
True. Good point I supposed I didn’t even thing of the slabbing. Ugh that would drive me crazy if it happened.

Do loose discs affect value for sealed games? Is VGA or WATA able to put these back in place by chance? Didn’t see anything for this on either website so just curious.

Sealed games WITH SLIP covers

Understandable, I do like them too tbh if they’re in super good shape... however, I’d you sent in a sealed game for grading, I ask would you send in with the cover or no? I’m not even sure how these would qualify to be graded? Maybe they don’t accept sealed with sleeve grading?
