Can you explain this to me again? I can't understand at all what you're trying to tell me.
I think they are just saying like.. it's up to you what you want to collect but we're going to provide every possible detail here

love the Boxxle photo what region was that. pic is of a pal osq... only USA has the R, now the CANADA is interesting as they use TM* for something i don't know yet.... you did have a tm OSQ on
Opps the boxxle is ukv. Don't Know how that slipped in
My golf looks like a tm. Hard to say for sure though when I zoom I'm further it just looks like a blob
Definitely another variant. Here is the R
This one looks like an R too. It's hard to tell

What are the 25 that could have this variant?

I've been looking for a set with no luck yet. Found a ltn red though
I noticed the esrb logo is white on the ltn red and black on the newly found set so it would be weird if they switched to the ltn after this set @Splain as in the other label variant cases the black esrb logos were released later in the production run

It was just a black cartridge that I thought was grey

Oh, I miss understood. I think we have a black/blue vs white/gold dress situation going on here. I didn't want to say anything because at a glance I thought they were suppose to be the same cartridge and I knew the second was fake. But now that I understand, I think the first image is a black cartridge but with a bright light that's making the plastic glare and giving it a grayish tone.
Haha you may be right. That would be kind of a bummer

the lower pic is a fake the code DNKG is used by a group out of china.
I was just providing that picture because it was the only example of a reproduction label that I could find. I was trying to determine if there are reproduction labels out there for sale that match closer to the one I purchased to see if someone had just placed it on a gray cartridge at some point but I could not find anything closer.
To be more clear..
The cartridge that I have has what seems to be an authentic label of pocket bomberman.
This label was only officially released in the US on gameboy color (black cartridge)
Is the label a reproduction?
Is the label transfered from a black cartridge using a heat gun?
Is the label a legitimate error?
Pocket bomberman is the same game as bomberman GB but was resold on the gameboy color. There seems to be a EUR gray and black cart version of pocket bomberman. Curious what the rom differences are to determine which rom is on the cartridge that I have
-
Check this out. I picked this up today. I know the chances are low that this is legitimate but I wanted to get it anyways because it's either a really good label transfer which usually easy to spot, a reproduction label, or some bizarre error that is legitimate.
I tried finding some label reproductions and was able to find some on etsy.. but they are different and very easy to tell that it's a reproduction. I've included that picture for comparison. This label also has the numbers stamped on the front. I've never seen that reproduced but I suppose it could be. Have you guys seen the stamped numbers reproduced? That's why I was thinking someone just took the label off the gameboy color black cartridge and put it on the gray cart. That would be a very weird thing to do and also you can usually tell that someone did this because the process is not easy/perfect.
I'll have to wait until it show up to check the board. Is any one familiar with the rom differences between the US gray release of bomberman gb, the US black of bomberman pocket , and the eur gray and black release of bomberman pocket?

I guess we will never know. Someone must have made an offer and they pulled the auction

I’d rather you didn’t. I mean, someone else might do that, but IMHO, if this one goes for more than the average SML auction, or even a bit, it would just show that others are actually paying attention and desiring this thing.
But hey, if you want/need one and want to throw out a legit bit more than FMV, be my guest.
I was just joking mang

Should be interested to see what this goes for auction. I may throw in a couple of bids just to inflate the price

The USA label with the corrected logo was seemingly only released in Europe. Mine was from Germany and even came with the German manual
-
Cool find!
I think the bill and Ted corrected label also belongs in this discussion you all are having. It was a label with a USA code that was only released in Europe.
I live pretty close to the border. I wonder if it's worth going over to some game shops.

I trust you guys won't back door me on this one, but I have been shocked how long it's taken me to find a Raging Fighter, rev-1. I've had this eBay search open for 2-3 years and I don't think I've ever seen this game for sale. Maybe there was one that slipped by early on when I saved the search and it was in a poor condition so I didn't want it. If I had known it'd take me this long to finally see one, I would have waited but this seems to be in great shape, so I won't complain. I'm glad to finally knock this off the list.
Anyway, I know some of you guys already have a copy of this variant. How did you get yours? Do you recall finding it in the wild or buying it off of eBay? Any chance it was from Canada? I feel like this isn't the first hard-to-find GB variant that I've had to simply bite-the-bullet and buy from Canada. The game was reasonably priced but of course, shipping was harsh because that's the facts when shipping from their to the US. My guess is that some of these less common variants were part of Canadian distribution and Canada just happened to get some later prints and within the time of making the US batches for sale, they made minor changes to the labels and only Canada got some of them. Does that sound legit to you guys, or are you not so sure.
Anyway, here's the link to the BIN on eBay. $9.99CAD is more than reasonable. The $12.00 shipping, however, felt like high way robbery (by the post office, no the seller.)
There were a few rev -1 that I only found in Canada, including this one. Definitely seems reasonable that they were only sold there.

Please consider pulling this listing and passing us 2-3 here a list of your variants (non Rev-0s)
I said I gave up but that wasn't true. I wanted to give up but I keep looking for some rare variants.
I would definitely like to buy some of these variants I'm missing.
Here's what I've been using to track. It includes all the variants that I have. I definitely rather sell to people that have been on the lookout for these. I am not going to pull the eBay listing down at this time because if someone does make a decent offer there I would also like them all gone at once. Although, the offers I have been getting there have all been in the 5k range from obvious resellers and I am in no rush to dump these out to people that don't realize the rarity.

Willing to go $14,000 OBO through paypal or split up and sell separate chunks. I'm not really willing to do 1 offs at this point in time.
I have my DMG variant set listed for sale. I'm only missing a handful of variants/original releases but I got bored with trying to find the last few.
Right now I have everything in my DMG set for sale together but if your interested In a big enough chuck I may be willing to break things up considering I'd rather these go to another collector and also not having to deal with eBay is a bonus. Just let me know.

From what I understand there are now 5 label variants:
1) 3-line Game Link logo
2) 2-line Game Link logo with no letter A in stamped code
3) 2-line Game Link logo with letter A in stamped code
4) Player's Choice
5) Best Buy rated E
I think the 2nd one is the newly discovered variant.
Oh okay. Thanks for clearing that up. I didn't realize we were counting the stamp differences now.

I got in the suspected R golf. It looks different than my tm copy but not quite right. It almost looks like they just pasted the R over the tm logo
