  1. Totally agree! Hopefully I can get every poster one day! I am a big fan of their quality! Thanks, my friend! Appreciate the love! I am a big fan of the Satomi Tadashi Persona games (Persona 1, 2 Innocent Sin and 2 Eternal Punishment). Nice to meet other fans! Jack Frost is the funnest demon! Have you played Synchronicity? I bet you have! So cool, isn't it?
  2. Hey guys, here are some more from my 600+ poster collection. Hope they provide some enjoyment! I am choosing them at random! Bloodlines is my favorite game of all time. But I love so many RPGs almost as much!
  3. I played a Bone Necro with my brother, who was an Ice Sorceress. He would freeze the enemies to slow down their attack rate, and I would bone wall, so they would take forever to smash it down and then bone spear them as well. Sometimes I would bone prison an enemy as he froze them and we would both nuke. It was my favorite combo in the game! Sorceresses are amazing! Fantastic allies for any class! I just loved that spear that went through clusters of enemies, and teeth was so fun when leveled to 20+. Anyway, you're the man!!
  4. You'd love the 2nd one. It's definitely the best! The 1st is more like a prologue. You can even load your stats into the second. The second has a new main character that interacts with Arc, and he is even better. Amazing two games! Third is just okay. Much much less intense. But fun nonetheless! Hope you try them someday!
  5. Amen, brother!! 100% agreed!! I never tire of playing the Necromancer. I went with Bone Magic. I want to try a real run as a Druid. What class did you play most?
  6. Here are some more posters from my collection. All randomly chosen. I am so passionate about promo that if any of you have anything for sale, I would love to add it to the official archive. I intend to preserve these rather than display them. I want the future to benefit. Anyway, thanks so much for all the love and support you've shown, you guys. Looking forward to making lots of friends here! Thanks again, guys! And I hope you enjoy!
  7. Thanks, my friend! Any chance you could update your post with the new watermark? I appreciate the advice immensely!
  8. I have several 1-in-the-world items, but this is probably my favorite, since it encapsulates me as a collector -- Otaku Convention Otacon's "Big Boss" card. I'm a bit hesitant to post it, as I brought it to a card shop in Beverly Hills for protection materials, and then 2 weeks later, someone starts trying to sell a fake 1 of 1 "Big Boss" Sniper Wolf card from the same zip code (printed using internet images of Sniper Wolf). They made a forgery to rip off collectors -- someone bought it and then cancelled the sale when they realized it, but then the seller relisted it saying NO RETURNS, PERIOD. It was an obvious forgery. Won't go into the reasons, but JunkerHQ, the Kojima Forums, helped me mass report the guy and get it taken down. I think it was that card shop that got the idea when I brought it in. There are only 3 of these known to have ever been pulled (Sniper Wolf not among them), and I have 2 of the 3. They are called Big Boss cards, and there are only 1 in the world of each. Estimated to be only 10 total - 1 in every 3,500 packs, each pack costing $50-100. Anyway, here is my contribution:
  9. Thank you, my friend. Kind of you to say. Mostly Ganbare Goemon stuff (from the anime based on the game) and anime cels for classics. Not so much from games, aside from maybe a sketch or two. Not to overstate my collecting in that area, but it is a growing passion of mine, and I intend to buy some game-related original art in the near future. I really like promo posters, though, because they have the release dates and the loglines on them, sometimes.
  10. I'll keep an eye out for you! I may more easily be able help with the Lunar! Will DM you if I find anything! Thanks for the love! Right?! It's awesome to find someone with similar taste! Thanks for the love, man!!
  11. Thank you, my friend. I have 10 or 11 Chrono Trigger posters total. I can post some more! As I said, I collect other stuff. Just since I want to switch things up, I want to show you some other items. Here are 10 contest prize Chrono Trigger phonecards from 1995, depicting all 10 official illustrations. And 1 special bonus secret phonecard. Also 4 contest prize Final Fantasy VII gold carddass cards, limited to 500 each. Then a Kazuma Kaneko Soul Hackers "NETCRISIS" lithograph, signed and numbered out of 100. Then a full set of Policenauts cards. Finally a Street Fighter II: The New Challengers Large Banner, from the early 90's.
  12. Hey all, I collect rare promo stuff, prototypes, standees, original art, 1 of a kind stuff. But I really like the posters most of all. I have about 700 posters. Here are a few cool ones. Some of you have really great collections, and it's awesome seeing what you've picked up over the years.
  13. Deadeye : Right on, my friend. Absolutely. Star Ocean 2 was/is something else. It really pushed the action RPG forward. Outstanding Motoi Sakuraba music and world design (beautiful graphics, too). The male/female options were great for female fans of RPGs and made for some fun discussions, since they could enjoy the romance mechanics vicariously just like male gamers. Loved the item creation, many endings, and that cast -- I honestly think the SO2 cast is as good as FF7's. That said, if you want more of them, Star Ocean: Blue Sphere for Game Boy Color is a masterpiece (features the same cast). It was recently translated to English. I HIGHLY recommend it if you haven't played it. It's the biggest game on the system (and it shows). A combination of Link's Awakening mechanics with Tales of Phantasia-style real-time combat. Also retains an item creation system. It's also one of my favorite games of all time. And hello DreamCuPS ! Welcome!
  14. Thanks Bearcat-Doug Deadeye and MuNKeY!! Really appreciate the welcomes! Here are some of the Star Ocean 2 posters I have (I have a ton of nonpromo SO2 posters, as well, maybe 16). I'll see all I have for Tactics, but I have less for that.
  15. Hey m308gunner RH Chuppa Thanks a ton for the welcomes! Appreciate the comments! Thanks for the love and appreciation! My brother enjoys BoF3 more, too. It is a charming game. I'm torn between 3 and 4 myself. 3 is so nostalgic. I do have some framed. One for Xenogears is framed, along with a Star Ocean poster, and one for Suikoden III, among a few others -- I'll see about getting some pics. I store them all rolled in acid-free sleeves. Usually several to a tube. Some people argue for storing flat, but I feel safer with them rolled in hard tubes. Hope to be sharing a lot more with you guys here! And of course, seeing what it is you all collect. Every little niche is a whole universe. You guys are the best, thanks again for the welcomes!
  16. Thanks, SpoonMan Abrams X and Jfreakofkorn !! Much appreciated! I feel very welcome! Thanks for the compliment on my posters! Here are a couple more! The Wild Arms 2 is double-sided! Hoping to continue to build this collection as much as I can! I love RPGs!!
  17. Thanks, everyone! TrekMD Bubbapauls DoctorEncore I appreciate it! I hope to become a regular member of the community here, the welcomes make me feel a part of it already! Also, thanks for the appreciation on the Xenoblade posters! I will definitely share more of my collection here!
  18. Thanks, man! Appreciate the love! I know there are some collecting titans here, and it's humbling to share my little corner of the whole scene with likeminded people.
  19. Here are the 4 USA convention-exclusive Wii posters for Xenoblade. Figure I'd show a few more! I love RPG's so much, so any help in building my promo collection would be SO AWESOME. I really want to catalogue these for posterity. I take really good care of them, with the intention of digitizing them someday. I'd like to share with an awesome gaming community that makes me feel like one of them. Hope you enjoy!
  20. Hey all, I am a big-time promo collector, particularly for RPGs. Looking for stuff like the Parasite Eve standee. Or Parasite Eve 2. Any Sega Genesis or CD/SNES/SFC or PS1 RPG promo in particular. I am hoping to make some friends who would sell or trade some RPG promo items for my collection. If anyone has anything to that end, I would be very interested. Also any promo items for Metal Gear Solid. Thanks so much for your time.
  21. Hey guys, Hope everyone is safe and healthy during these difficult times. I am new, so I'd like to introduce myself. I am a huge promo collector for games, especially RPGs. Hoping to make friends with people who are down to sell or trade RPG promo materials or rare items. Right now, I have about 600 unique promotional posters for games, mostly RPGs, not including standees or rare items, etc. I like games like Star Ocean, Valkyrie Profile, Shin Megami Tensei, Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger (of course), Chrono Cross, Dragon Quest, Fallout, and a list too long I'd likely bore you. Happy to be here in this forum and looking forward to getting to know some of you and becoming friends, and hopefully making deals. One reason I joined is to find a Parasite Eve standee. That's something I've been after for a while. Never met anyone willing to part with one for a price I could afford. Thanks for letting me be a part of this forum and wishing you all the best.
