Are there any close up photos on here of the power and A/V cables that came with all the different variants of the NTSC PlayStation?

I was just thinking about this as well. There are several variants with the power cords while the the av cables only had like 2-3 versions.

good luck getting that info! this would need its own mini-database in order to cross-check properly. imagine how many boxed and loose copies now come with cables and power cords that aren't the ones that came with that particular copy originally. especially the power cord since it doesn't have a playstation/sony brand on it.

i think it needs to be worked model by model and region by region

Right. The only way to know for sure is if someone still has the cable and they know it belongs with the PlayStation they bought, brand new.

I refuse to pay the going rate for a factory sealed CIB PlayStation, especially if it's only to look at the cables.
