Tabonga | 2,345
My younger brother was in a rollover in the mountains yesterday. He was only going 20 mph and hit some black ice - bounced off of the guardrail and flipped. He spent about 15 minutes hanging upside down until he was extracted. The police officer who responded had bounced off the same guardrail a bit earlier and had called it in to get the area sanded - the crews were obviously busy though. My brother didn't get hurt other than a sore shoulder and the truck suffered a lot of body damage. He says he has the parts already to repair it. I am glad he was wearing a seatbelt and that his truck is pretty old - the emergency responders said a newer pickup would have wound up with a collapsed cab that likely would have crushed him to death. Too bad about the truck but he survived with minimal injuries. Edited January 2, 2023 by Tabonga
