SNES Classic Edition - controller port cover/door Have one? Also maybe, FDS?

I got a secondary SNES CE some months ago, great shape except that piece is missing.  Got a busted system or hate the thing hanging off there and want it gone?  I could use it.

 

Also having lost out on a free non-working FDS+Memory block combo fairly recently it got me thinking I'd like to maybe have one as I saw it seems to work just fine with a top loader and a Famicom adapter which (honeybee) I have.  Maybe it's crazy, don't want to pay the ebay sucker rate as I know they like the ancient disks are testy.  Or maybe a bad idea and stick with an everdrive?  Display piece?
