Hide and seek on your TV! This game was originally developed for and released on the Atari 2600. A game, which KHAN played in his younger years and looked upon fondly. Wanting to give the game more exposure, KHAN brought Sneak 'n Peak to the NES with improvements.
It was hailed as Homebrew of the Year 2018 (TM) by some enthusiastic players. With others saying it was robbed during the Best KHAN Game Polls in 2020.
From the Publisher:
"If you don't recall playing the beloved Atari 2600 game, Sneak 'n Peek, don't worry! You aren't alone!
The graphics were bad, the music was bad and out of tune, and the characters looked like they were having a really good time. Now you can experience all the fun of that, but with slightly better graphics, better music, and normal looking characters. Throw random powerups into the mix, and the ability to play single or two player, and you have this second release from KHAN Games: The all new Sneak 'n Peek adaptation for the Nintendo Entertainment System."
Demand was expected to be low by the development team, however the it quickly sold out and has become a desirable title for years and years.
Release:
Sneak 'n Peek was was limited to 100 copies and announced on Nintendoage and orders were fulfilled by RetroUSB (known as RetroZone at the time of publish).
Cart only was produced with an optional box through NES-City.
