The hit arcade game brought to the NES. A horizontal shoot em up (SHMUP if you will) with 5 stages and an end base face off where you must avoid the enemies, caverns, and refill your space ship along the way. Get that high score!
From the developer:
"The object of Scramble is to not die. In order to accomplish your goal of not dying, you must avoid letting things hit you. On top of dodging all of the objects, you must also not run out of gas. Conveniently, the aliens use the same exact fuel you do, so there are tanks laying all through the game. Also conveniently, if you bomb them, somehow it transports that fuel into your ship. We've tried to get some of our best scientists to figure out how it all works, but they used big words we didn't understand, so we have just concluded that it's magic.
There are five levels to beat, and a base to bomb, after which the game starts again at the first level, continuing your score (with your fuel depleting faster each time). The game goes on forever until you lose all five of your lives."
Scramble was released as a CIB and a cart only through KHAN Games' website. Cart was orange.
