Just noticed this spot circled acts like a button.  Get a tiny flathead screwdriver and pull that little flap up gently...it just slides right off!!

I know it's probably super simple, but I'm having a tough time removing the battery pack from this Nomad.  I don't want to force movement too hard for fear of breaking something.  Is there a specific trick to getting these things free????

Nice!!!!   I'm not skilled or confident enough to work on mine.  It works at the moment, so I think I'll leave it alone.  Keep us updated on your work and stellar find with the Nomad!

Man...FINALLY found a Nomad in the wild after looking off and on for a couple years. They just don't pop up much at all in my area.  Could've just bought one at any point off ebay, but where's the fun in that

I've wanted these 2 Genesis games for a long time and got them in trade.  The Nintendo sign is for Switch kiosk, and I bought it off ebay.

Every now and again, I get the itch to try and track one of these carts from Flashback games down.  These are rhe hidden and test levels left over in the SMB3 code...cool video up in Youtube about these levels.

Any of you here ever own this one?? Always thought it'd be cool to have one of these!

I traded roughly $550 of non-gaming related items.  I've known this person for a few years, so I had some stuff I knew would catch their eye when they were finally willing to part with it.

Picked up this bad boy in a trade yesterday.  Got it from the original owner who had a game shop years back. Included was the original box it was shipped in, straight from Nintendo. Pretty stoked!

@Vaosu ugh.   Shoukd have looked at the bottom and did not.  It is in ghe orginal box with official Nintendo branding, and that box is labeled Nintendo "light thief".

A place near me has this sign, but i'm unable to find any comps for it.  The owner won't let go of it until he's able to clearly see how much one sold for.  So I'm turning to y'all for some help...anyone see one like this sell online anywhere???

Interesting.  I admit I’m not huge on grading games, but I’ll likely sample this company’s services as well.  Tried Wata and VGG….soon VGC and this one as well

Must’ve gotten lucky with Wurm.  I’ve only seen 1 copy in the wild, snagged it a few years back. Label is not pristine, but it’s not bad.

+1 to the person who mentioned Thrilla Safari!

Totally Rad is one that I’m always looking to get a label upgrade for while out and about.  Can never find that one in great shape.

Similar experience.  The one game I submitted to Wata, around May of 2019 I believe, arrived back with a pretty scuffed case.  The scuffing is on the INSIDE surface of the case which I thought was odd.  What I’m referring is in the image attached around and below the title. They did offer to replace, but I didn’t want to pay for shipping and wait months again to get it back.  The grade for mine though for pretty spot on, IMO.

First impressions are a powerful thing. Not too big on grading games to begin with, but I won’t send them anything again.  I only have 2 graded games, and if I do anymore it’ll be with VGA or VGG (yup, I said VGG  )

This isn’t a big value title, but it is one of my absolute faves from childhood.

Definitely not going to pull a Kip and shove it under a tire like Tupperware.  Lol. 

But I gave into peer pressure and gave it a drop from waist height onto the carpet.  Survived fully intact.  There, y’all happy?!?!

With that gap their, you could easily stick a needle or a small object inside and do some serious damage to the game box. If that were to happen then the grade would no longer be accurately describing the condition.

I’m right there with you about this.  I did get a response from them stating it is by design to let things breathe while it’s slabbed.  I guess I could get that reasoning to an extent just thinking of how temp fluctuations cause things to expand and contract. Idk. 

BUT….What would worry me is environmental damage.  Grading services (at least to my knowledge) don’t provide slabs that are fully water or airtight.  But the gaps on these cases do seem to leave it more vulnerable to things like humidity, moisture, and such than others.  I could be wrong about all of this though.   

Fwiw, I do still dig it sitting on the shelf in the game room.  Guess that’s all that matters!
