  1. Have started playing the Switch library with Drainus, Blasphemous ll, Razion Ex, and Demon Throttle.

Drainus is my fav. so far because of the difficulty and weapon load out on the fly. Razion Ex is has a sweet spot as far as difficulty and I see a 1cc in the future. (Kind of crazy that both games have set pieces dedicated to r-type.)

Blasphemous ll is a bit easier than one and the level design is a half step down from the original, which is weird considering the reused most of the resources. That being said it's been a lot of fun and I am OP and stuck ATM.

Demon Throttle is a welcome Arcade style game, it feels closer to a auto runner than a shooter like Twinkle Tale or Elemental Master. But the RPG elements make it interesting as the level up system creates a real incentive to kill as many enemies as possible.

Can't wait to check out some more of the exclusives.

Edit: just got to the final boss and Demon Throttle will get filed as Cho Aniki adjacent.

I’m going to echo what’s already been said in abundance: see a mental health professional.

This is a webforum for video game enthusiasts and is a weird place for advice or camaraderie or commiseration for what you’re going through. We are not equipped to help you. And it is getting tiresome that you refuse to accept the overwhelming consensus this community is offering to you.

    For sure. Thanks.

Ok, this would be my follow up to this.  Think about it--how is this guy doing this?  What device does he have?  What does this sound like, exactly.  Shouldn't this guy be a nuisance to your entire neighborhood/apartment building?

I'm starting to agree.  If this seems legit, go to a doctor.  Have them record the sounds and get them to help you take it to the police.

Also, one last question--have  you gone to a Police Station?  How did they respond to the noise, or did it stop?  Maybe, if there's a bench in front of a station, you can sit on it for a couple hours for a couple of days.  If you keep hearing the sound... that's probably a good tell that this could be a phycological issue--the police wouldn't put up with that sound, non-stop, at their own headquarters.

So sometimes it's a high pitched noise.  That one can go long distances, but I realized when I was at the beach that the spread wasn't as big as I thought. If I get far enough away, I can hear the area it's covering in the distance.

And sometimes it is an amplified voice that attempts to sound like a whisper. Sometimes whatever he is using is turned up the wrong way and I hear his normal voice like when you accidently press the wrong volume button on the TV. What ever he is using to amplify his voice seems like it works on shorter distance like up to a quarter mile. When he is talking it sounds like background noise to most people, but if you hear it off and on for 10 hours it's fucking annoying.

Now, I was renting a room from a family. I had a seperate entrance and generally just said hello to them. They thought the whole thing was funny at first. I initially thought it was coming from inside the house so when I got fed up, I stopped paying rent. The family moved to one of their other properties for three months, until I was ready to move. They have never asked for any money.

  4. One of the other reasons I know it's not in my head is because the sound gets blocked by physical objects. Let's say I am walking down a straight road and the noise seems like it's coming from behind me it will soften the further I get or if I take a turn.

  5. Maybe his time is less valuable since he is a felon. The only other thing to note is that every once in a while, while he is doing it, people that I have had disagreements with in the past, step-father etc. walk through my line of site or drive by me and look at me without saying anything.

Again, multiple people have acknowledged their presence.

Think about what you're saying.  Is it more likely that someone left Hawaii to dedicate their life to following you up and down the country, who cannot be served, whose sound cannot be recorded, or... well, some kind of psych alternative?

You alluded to some recent troubles.  Could this be related?

Yes. It's been going on for months, I can't focus, I can't work, and everyone I know thinks it's funny and are acting like it's my fault for not resolving it.

  7. I thought it was a joke initially. So I ignored it and went along with it and figured he would tire put. That was months ago.

And again, it's not in my head because I have seen him a couple times and people are responding to it.

  8. He doesn't live locally. The cop knows him from the past, everyone I ask says he lives in Hawaii so he came out here to do this and has been following up and down the state, I went to Mexico and he followed me there.

Get a restraining order? Once they violate it the police can act with charges. Stalking and harassment are pretty easy reasons to get it I should think

Can you get a restraining order if you don't know where to serve someone?

  10. I've tried recording, but my phone won't pick it up. Maybe analog recorder?I have been to the police 7 times in three counties and every time they ask if it's a psych issue.

I spoke to the police in Monterey County because they were doing it through the back wall of the movie theater. A bunch of the movie goers got pissed and left so I figured the police would finally listen.

One of the officers knows the person stalking me, and after 30 min of convincing them I'm not crazy, he told me that even if they believe me, they have to think about how they use their resources and how did I expect them to find the person.

  11. Someone has been stalking me almost everyday for the last few months and playing high pitched noises wherever I go. They wake me up all throughout the night.

I've spoken to the police, I have called private investigators, and I have called lawyers and have not been able to get any help.

Any suggestions on what I should do?

  12. Jonebone said that well. I can personally say, that the best thing you can do is talk to your family so things don't get left unsaid and really listen to them for what they need. Adults that I know don't like asking their kids for things so you have to be proactive in helping them. And I am a sentimental person so I think mementos help with cope with the eventual loss.
