Hi all,
I’m looking to get an acrylic case for 1-2 N64 games, in box. Etsy seems to get me 1 nice looking case for about $20 shipped. Is this the going rate? Any other options? Thanks guys!

title says it. looking for a clean copy of star tropics 2. as an after thought, maybe a clean cib star tropics as well. definitely one of my favorite games. Thanks guys.

Thanks for the info! Yeah I recall back then it was a lot easier to find these. The only site I could find was,
https://www.ocdreproductions.com/
Would recommend. bought a crimson echoes game w box and maybe manual years ago, terrific job. just recently bought a Pokémon creepy black in the last year. some quality stuff and personal touch.

^ as much as that’s not the most difficult thing to figure out, spelling it out will definitely make it easier and I’ll probably do it in the near future. Thank you!
-
lol definitely gotta fix it. I’ll hide it for a while before I actually do or it’ll drive me nuts

figured I’d give a quick update. went with the universal game cases, mostly because they were the cheapest. I printed out the box art on normal printer paper with my work printer, so nothing special (and why it doesn’t fit perfectly).
overall, not a bad case. Feels like the games will be protected. downside- the snes game rattles around, definitely not “snap in,” but that’s ok. the edges feel sharp in some places, but I could probably sand them a little.
overall, not bad. Definitely feels blockbuster-y. might have to check the others in time, but it’ll be slow going. Still have shelving to design and put together..

Definitely more blockbuster-esque
I think I actually have an old Toe-Jam and Earl for Genesis in the original blockbuster rental case somewhere now that I think about it has... I must’ve accidentally never returned it as a kid.
One thing to note about the Bit-Box is the bottom seal on the case that keeps the cover art insert from falling through the bottom. On the other hand, I have several Universal Game Cases and have never had a problem with inserts falling through.
that's good to know- I have a small room in the back of my house that I'd like to build some shelves for and display my snes games better than just stacking games. I'm not much for original boxes only because the few I have look terrible and of course $. I think the old-school blockbuster style would go well with a few dozen vhs tapes I can line the walls with too.

- The Custom Game Cases are a much higher quality and will hold the game perfectly. The downside of course is that they cost a little more.
- The Universal Game Cases are a much lower quality and the quality and case dimensions tend to vary between production runs. These differences are noticeable enough to see on your shelf if they are next to each other. On the plus side, they typically cost less.
I personally recommend the Custom Game Cases over the Universal Game Cases just for the higher quality. The only reason I still own some of the Universal Game Cases is because I bought them before the Custom Game Cases were available.
thanks for the info! I was thinking of getting 1 or 2 of each and seeing how I like them in person, but it's hard to justify spending $10 for a case with shipping 3x over. they have great deals when you buy 25 at a time, which is what I'd likely do, but to spend $5shipping plus $4/case...gonna have to have a few beers and pull the trigger I guess.

Bit Box is another option.

great quality cases, and the store has them for a variety of consoles. Best of luck
these look pretty good- and prices aren’t bad.
I saw these as well, not sure if anyone has any experience with them.
they stoneagegamer ones look a bit cleaner and are more expensive, but the universal game cases are more “blockbuster” like I think.

Are you referring to the Universal Game Cases that held SNES, Genesis, N64 among others?
I think so. I’m looking for it to at least hold snes games specifically
-
hey guys, I’m looking for some blockbuster-style cases for SNES carts. Ideally I would be able to print out some custom labels and throw them on the front or in a slip. any recommendations? looking for something to protect the games, but show them off in a retro/blockbuster style display
-
that might be a bit too big lol

Rifle would prolly be better

lookin for the a suitable wii gun attachment. I have the controllers themselves, just tryna get my arcade setup on and have a few beers while hunting some wii bears and other dangerous hunts.

what I’m lookin for! a little description. any personal favorites are welcome too

Entertainment wise nothing wrong with AVGN.
Metal Jesus is the "hidden gems" guy, that's his shtick.
Mylifeingaming if yo want to learn about getting the best picture from old consoles or learn about flashcarts

I’m not too familiar with youtubers and retro gaming, lookin for some midden gems. favorites? classics? spill em!

If it's GC ready it should have on one side of the Wii a black panel with four GC controller ports and the two memory card slots, you can't miss it.
it has that. I just bought some replacement panels cuz the one covering the controller slot doesn’t attach correctly/looks like the clips are sheared off lol

You should consider doing the Wii Homebrew thing. It's Nintendon't program that allows it to function as a GameCube Everdrive (you did the a GC ready Wii, right???) is truly a God send. Now if only doing that for PS1 was that easy...
not sure. It was a gift so I didn’t specify. I do have a GameCube lying around somewhere, but without cords or controllers. I’ll look into it

I picked up super Mario galaxy, Sega bass fishing, cabelas dangerous hunts 2013, and some African safari for about $24. going to look through the rest of these suggestions and probably check eBay or GameStop’s sale in the near future. thanks!

Resident Evil 4 is a blast on wii. Its the best version. Probably one of my top 10-15 games all time
others worth getting besides the obvious (ex . mario galaxy 1 and 2)
No More Heroes 1 and 2
Sin and Punishment
Litle Kings Story
Punch-Out
Kirby's Return to Dream Land
Wario Land Shake It (Love the art in this one)
Metroid Prime 3 (well you could just get the trilogy and get this in that one)
Zack and Wiki
Boom Blox
Excitebots Trick Racing
Klonoa
Dead Space Extraction
There are a lot of solid titles for the wii. Tried to list affordable cheap enough ones for you. Stuff youd see used at a gamestop.
If you like RPGs you can get xenoblade chronicles or fire emblem radiant dawn. I dont know what xenoblade goes for now its probably lower than it was since this game was rereleased, but I know fire emblem is kind of expensive now.
This is great. I’ll definitely look for a few of these titles today. Boom blox seems to be a good option, plus it’s basically free.99

my brother just picked up a wii for me for christmas. never had one before and looking for the "must buys" for the system.
I've always been a fan of jrpgs, playing most of the ff series, chrono trigger/cross, xenogears. mario has always been a favorite. never really got into zelda (somehow).
I'm also a big fan of the wii sports and "action" type games. looking to get a fishing/hunting game to play with my wife and friends after a few too many beers. I was also wondering if any of the lego games were worth picking up? it seems GameStop has a buy 2 get 2 free preowned games going on until Sunday, so I'd probably be capitalizing on that.
sorry if I'm a bit disjointed. it's scotch.
thanks!

bump. Also looking for any sweet wii games. Bass or buck hunter games welcome lol
