Ill add to the Time Walk discussion. I never bought any of them, but I wanted to. There was then and is now a lot of options for CIB translations and hacks. But nothing to this day has ever compared to the quality and official look (even though they definitely aren’t official) of TW games. Even official stuff released recently on cartridge by big companies that paid for licenses to rerelease games, look like junk compared to TW.

As for Star Keeper, someone PM me if they start going over 1k, and ill think about letting go of mine. Though mine was with the custom message coded. I dont know if that would make it worth more or less. It was for my daughter, but if they get valuable enough, she’d probably enjoy some other things I could buy for her with the cash.

We've got a great free price guide and e-Zine (magazine) that we release each month (in fact I'm working on it this afternoon!) and there's also an incomparable games database that you can search through right from the front page. If you need some information a good place to start is to search through old posts in the forums, but you can always just make a post if you're stuck!

After a quick Google search I didn’t find anything. I was wondering if somewhere there existed a Nintendo Power database that was searchable by game. So say you were playing Startropics, you could type that games title into the database, and it would list every issue of Nintendo Power that had a story, walkthrough, hints, codes, or maps for that game.

Would be nice, if every time I sat down to play a game, I just had some NP issues related sitting next to me.

Thanks for the offer. I have a scanner and the books, I was just being lazy. All I need to scan now is the strategy guide I guess. I don't wanna bother anyone with extra work, was just hoping the work was done online somewhere already. Really appreciate the desire to help though.

Is there a good source for high resolution manual and insert scans? I'm working on a YouTube video for Dragon Warrior, and I wanted to zoom in on some of the art from the Explorer's guide, manual, and NP strategy guide, but the stuff on Archive.org and Digital Press are super low res and look awful zoomed in. I think I have all the stuff I need physically, so I'll probably end up doing this myself if I can't find a good source, but for future videos, it would be nice to be able to just download them.

I thought it might gave been inspired by SegaSages.com, which now redirects to IGN.com, but it was an awesome game site back in the day.

Mine is pretty embarrassing... Super Mario Bros. I know everyone else thinks the NES Mario games are super easy. I had SMB as a kid and it was likely the first game I played, so there is no excuse really. For me, it's Ninja Gaiden 2 and 3. Ninja Gaiden 1 I can fly through the whole game effortlessly until the last boss, which I can beat, but it isn't easy. And it's not even a game I am that familiar with, its just really easy for me for some reason, but part 2 and 3, I get frustrated and stop playing after the first couple stages.

Since he is still selling them, and NA is officially dead, with no scoreboard functionality, he should at least update the product description. Would suck to Shell out that much money, thinking you can upload your high score to some website, not realizing the website doesn't exist anymore.

Hello everyone. My name is Tim. I joined NA in 2008 under the name "DragonLunch". I was very active at that time and remember all the OG NA peeps. Later I changed my name to "JBOGames", and then later finally changed to "DestructoDisk". I wrote an article in 2 issues of the NA e-zines.
