Bien sûr. I need to go back over and get back to working on my french word lists, like I was doing with some of the video games some time ago, would make it easier to locate what I need when I need to remember than going from one website to another, though sometimes the exploring trying to find the right word(s) to use sometimes gets me finding other useful stuff too. And so much as I would like to type every message in french, it takes me a long time, thus half the night would be gone on one simple paragraph. Bad enough when I would type paragraphs of stuff in topics like I sometimes do, because I spend so much time thinking and rewording, it takes a long time, and that's in english, and that is why when talking to people in real time sometimes find myself hesitant to say anything or stutter too much. But as with everything, it all comes easier with practice, so little bits here and there, and gradually increase usage when comfortable enough.

Now, I just have to make sure to remember and not make the same mistakes. Probably will, but in time less often. I can't  remember much words unless I actually see them, then it's like, oh, how come I can't remember that?! You know a word that I struggled with for ages and still find myself sometimes taking moments to remember is "souvent" (often), I have encountered this word hundreds of times and it took me ages to be able to get it without having to look it up anymore.

J'ai commencé à étudier le français il y a trois ans, depuis l'automne 2016. Tout a commencé avec Skyrim, mais le dialogue dans le jeu était en anglais, bizarre, hein? De toute façon, j'ai créé des personnages Bretons et j'ai décidé de rechercher certains noms français, puis je me suis soudainement intéressée à apprendre le français, juste comme ça. Quand j'ai commencé à télécharger des jeux vidéo pour la Xbox 360, j'ai téléchargé State of Decay tout de suite en décembre, une semaine plus tard j'ai découvert que je pouvais changer la langue de ma xbox et que le jeu avait également remplacé le texte d'anglais au français. Hmm, google traduction, Linguee, Reverso, wikipedia et d'autres sites pour rechercher quelques mots français. Il me faut vérifier beaucoup de mots, cela prend du temps. Mais, je lis assez bien.

(note : if there was one word that I shouldn't have messed up it would be décembre, because I capitalized it which I don't even do in english, and even that the word "english" in english, urgh, English, whatever, it is supposed to be capped, but in french, no those words are not, accident of the finger and eyes not seeing the error, same with typing "e" instead of "é", minor issues really, but that second to last sentence was really a mess.)

Hmm, not sure why I thought I needed both "plus" et d'autres". Forgot the "s" quelque(s). il me faut verifier , got it! Yeah, that last one is sorta a bit of a mess, ugh.

I have the tendancy to forget "au", when I read it when reading something I know it, but when trying to form my own sentences I forget such a word exists. And yes, more elegant, flows from the mouth better.

And to think I typed in "à" first before "apprendre" but was torn between that and changing it to "de". I mess up a lot on the verbs with what tense to use, verbs are hard in every language, so they tend to be the most difficult for me to remember because there are so many forms to remember and it is hard just remembering a few of them and even worse when having to match certain ones to the gender they are attached to. I'll get it eventually. Merci d'avoir corrigé mes erreurs.

Made some corrections (so I think) myself during these early morning hours. I saw some things that didn't look right, kept working with it until it looked more right (though how correct I dunno). But the effort was put into. Just took a bit longer. Anyway, enough gaming, enough studying.

Absolutely! Because I know there are mistakes just that I can't quite find the right way to say or correct them.

Ouais, j'ai "I have issues" mes mots préférés comme ma mère a tendance à me dire, moi... mes problèmes, ils ont toujours été là, anxiété sociale, hypersensibilité chimique multiple, mauvaise estime de soi, comportement autodestructeur, pensées suicidaires. Je fais toujours quelque chose pour me faire mal d'une manière ou d'une autre. Comme mes points de croix, je les avais totalement détruits pendant une crise mentale, dommage, vraiment. Pour moi, ce n'est pas juste un peu de tristesse, mais la fin du monde pour cet instant, et le sentiment disparaît rarement jusqu'à ce qu'il soit trop tard. Bien sûr, pas trop tard car je suis encore en vie.

Un peu. Pour le moment. C'est juste que parfois je me sens perdu. J'ai trop la dépression, le désespoir et comportement autodestructeur, et je n'arrive pas à me réparer ou soigner les blessures profondes. Mais... Je suis toujours là.
