    Hi Everyone!

After working in the video game industry for 20+ years, I've come up with quite a personal collection. However, I have no idea how to value games that never got released? I have pre-production eproms, signed games, etc. Is there a place to go to obtain value on rare items? I don't think Ebay is the best way to get a fair price.

    Any feedback is appreciated.

    Thanks!

As I mentioned to you earlier, in terms of prototypes and unreleased stuff, I'm about as knowledgeable as anyone out there. I don't believe there is a collector on this site that has more firsthand experience when it comes to prototype collecting.

Could he be Jeff from GoCollect? Or one of his minions?

I got this message a few days before, and just assumed it was the same guy. Not sure. I get stupid shit like this all time.

I sent Frank basically every rom I had years and years ago.  I have an incredibly small handful of unique roms at this point that I can’t release/share for one reason or another. Everything else is either with Frank or easily found on the web.

How on earth did he find your email address?

He must just done a search for my name?  I don’t know. I talked about the gym a decent amount on NA, so maybe he did some digging.
It’s always the same thing though: “Do you still have _______________ prototype, and can you dump the rom?”

  4. My school district will be fully remote for September and October, and the plan is to go to a hybrid model in November. All school districts in Massachusetts have to have three models ready for the fall (fully in person, hybrid, remote), knowing full well we’re not returning in person any time soon.

Florida has mandated an in-person option for all students for this coming school year starting in August

I’m guessing we see a spike on the National level once hotspots like Florida force a reopening, and we’ll ultimately stay remote for the entire school year.

We’ve seen a spike in EEE positive mosquitoes the past two years, so it’s limited our ability to utilize outdoor space this fall. That’s a big reason for us starting remote among other things.

My favorites video game crossover is Mike Tyson vs Muhammad Ali in the Fight Night series.

Oddly enough, the guy in the ring with Mike in this picture is the only opponent the two shared: Trevor Berbick.

Edit: Totally forgot Holmes!  So, one of two opponents.

    Someone actually blogged about that.

Apparently everything is on the Internet.

I worked at a day camp while in college, and they had these fucking MASSIVE ground wasp. You could hear them flying from many feet away. They had a nest right by the pool. They were Cicada Killers, noted in the article you linked. In the few years I worked there, I never hear of them stinging or biting anyone, but they sure were scary. It’s the only place I’d ever seen them, and they were there every year.

Are you getting paid for the time off? Some school districts in I think Washington shut down for some time as well.

It's treated the same as a snow day, and the aim is to make up the day at the end of the year.  With that said, we can't go beyond 185 scheduled days according to our contract.  So, if we were to lose something like 14 days of school, we wouldn't be expected to make them up.  We'd basically cut our loses.

I get paid no matter what for school, but I am a bit concerned about the gym.  I have to imagine that the fitness industry will be one of the first and most heavily impacted as people continue to grow weary.

Obligatory post. Patriots and their fans are pussies. Better luck next year taint lickers.

You awfully quiet last year though, weren’t you pussy?  Had to hide for twelve months and prayed The Pats lost. Didn’t have the balls to show up. The Patriots pissed on your parade for two decades.

It was always great to watch The Pats win, but it was so much better knowing it ruined your year. When they won last year, I laughed and laughed knowing that you were such a cuck that you couldn’t even log in to defend yourself. The Pats literally made you hide from a video game forum. That’s a hall of fame pussy performance.

When I was in high school we had a  wargaming club (which was comprised, not surprisingly perhaps, of several members of the chess club) and we played board games with each other and through the mail.   One of the games I played through the mail was against a person who later became a notorious serial killer.  Still kinda gives me the heebee jeebies even though we lived several states apart.

I remember you telling this story on the old site. Who was the killer again, and how much communication did you have with them?  I recall it being a pretty wild story.

Its all relative.  A first round home loss would have to be their worst season since... 2000?

Correct, assuming that were to even happen.

They’ve had far worse seasons over the past 20 years though. I mean, they’re 12-4. How many other franchises could have similar success and it be considered a failure?

I imagine they get past Tennessee. From there, it’s a tough road. Part of that being the underwhelming offense, but more-so to do with who they’ll (most likely) see. The Ravens are frightening, and KC is a clear threat as well.
