Whoa, thank you!! Will do now. I completed it just recently.

The last level of Bill & Ted’s was super forgiving. So many pickups that you can easily get two 1-ups per try. It’s also 10 levels. I only saw passwords for the first 9, so if anyone needs the tenth in the future (like when I forgot to write one down), it’s 555-1881.
Edit: @Floating Platforms, for your spreadsheet, it took me 4hrs and 5mins to complete.

I've been playing around with a bunch of games from the T section of the library, (Turok, Taz-Mania, Talespin, T2, True Lies) but I haven't beaten any yet. Really makes me appreciate the ones that give you passwords.
...
@withfoam I fired up Bill and Ted a couple years back, and I liked it until I got to a level I just couldn't get past. That's all I remember, so best of luck on whatever level that was!
How is True Lies? I have a weird penchant for 90's movies that they turned into video games. Especially movies where it was totally inappropriate (looking back, having kids now) for kids to have a tie-in pushed to them. LOL. I'll collect them all together one day and make some long-winded post about them somewhere.
I'm halfway through on B&T so far. It gets harder for sure and you have to die several times now to understand what reactions collecting each piece may have on the level. That's a frustration I have so far with it.

Ouch. Sounds like a hassle.
I'm currently playing Bill and Ted's Excellent Video Game or whatever the name is. It's actually pretty fun. I was NOT expecting it to end up being a puzzle type game. About halfway through now though. Many lives, continues, and passwords are its saving grace.

Next up, I'm playing Alfred Chicken.
Looking forward to hearing about it. It seems like an odd one.

Working on Spud’s Adventure. I guess I’m just in a potato mood.
So far, it’s a bit dumb and you can game the health system pretty easily by finding an enemy that respawns quickly and just spam killing until you have full hearts. The bosses are tough though due to terrible hit boxes.

Finally beat this bear of a puzzle game. It went from “cute” to “this is impossible” really fast. I wish there had been more levels where you switch between characters, like Catrap, but overall super challenging and addictive. I have photos in my camera roll for every level password. I think I’m ready for a platformer next. Lol.

I can't speak to Amazing Tater, but the nice thing about Kwirk was the level design; they made it really easy to see what you had to do, but made reverse engineering the later levels hard. It's not terribly different from the mindset you need when playing Catrap, just a different viewing angle. I think if you're good at one, the skills transfer well.
I agree with this. Catrap really helped prepare me for this one, in a way.

Oh lord. Nah, I think next on my list are:
- Darkman
- Toxic Crusaders
- Tail 'Gator
- Sumo Fighter
- Ninja Taro
Not easy ones, the lot, but I'd like to get to the end of them.

Sounds like you're really close overall if the last level is 4-10! I'm usually prefer the method of slamming my head against the wall non-stop until the light bulb in my brain finally goes off, but I hear taking breaks can work too. Haven't played any of the 3 in that series but they seem intimidating.
Yep. Almost there, but you're not kidding, this game went from, "oh, this is neat" to "omfg...this is impossible" really quickly.

I’m halfway through the fourth floor of Amazing Tater and sheeeeeesh, the difficulty has ramped and ramped through this game. Having to put it down and come back each day to let my brain chew on it on a background thread.

Hello! I love the Game Boy, have been modding them and collecting the NA catalog for a while now.
I'm 5 away from all 506 of the first print, officially licensed, nice label, not too yellowed, NA Game Boy games. Even have them all in OEM cases.
Just need:
- Avenging Spirit (Just waiting it out. There were a slew on eBay near the start of the year and now it's been pretty dry for a non-yellowed, nice label copy.)
- F1 Pole Position (I won an auction at a decent price and the seller couldn't find it...blaaaaaaah.)
- Jimmy Connors Tennis
- Toxic Crusaders (Sad that this has been going for way over what it seems it should.)
- Trax (first printing) (So many of these keep popping up, but all -1 prints)
I'll finally get there soon, but gosh...takes patience and constant checking.
Nice to meet you all!

Oh, and this year we did decide to give credit to everyone that clears the game (1 point if you're not the first to beat it), but it hasn't been done on this thread before, so it's not really reflected in the leaderboards yet.
Ah! I thought I had read that. Glad I'm not going crazy. Let me know if I need to do something to get on the leaderboard. Think I'll start hunting up some games that haven't been done yet. :D

Ahhh, thanks and sorry for the noise then. I thought I had read that folks were getting partial credit for ones already completed. No worries. On to something else now!

To be fair, I’m rebuilding a DMG right now. I’m not just a new kid.

Hi! I'm new. I signed up just because I saw this thread. I love what's happening here.
I recently (after the new year) beat Catrap and Kirby's Dream Land. Hope these count.
I LOVED Catrap. Maybe one of my favorite puzzlers of all-time now. The cadence of not so hard, HARD, not so hard, was really fun and kept things flowing.
Kirby's was a fun quick one. I think it was the fourth world where I just floated around and completed the level, that was a bit odd. Looking forward to playing KDL2.

Finally completed my officially licensed North American Game Boy games collection. All in OEM cases. I cannot believe I found these cubbies that they exactly ended up fitting all 506 games in. All alphabetized (unless they were a series and then I rearranged them in order).
