Did you have an alternate means to reach him other than forums or his eBay contact?

Does anyone recall a user named sportbettor, who was previously on the NintendoAge forums? He was on several other forums, too, and actually goes way back in the hobby, at least 20 years. All his online activity ceased abruptly a few years ago. He was even in the middle of some eBay sales when that happened, resulting in some negative feedback from people who thought he ghosted them; and his eBay account says it's no longer registered.
