  1. PS1 is my favorite so mine would be PS3. There are a few games like some of the souls games and the last of us that are in my top ten on it. I love playing my PS1 on it too just for the better digital pad on the controller.

The Tick! F yes! Have you seen Gargoyles? That series is an easy 10 for me.

Haha, yeah, the Tick was great.

Gargoyles, I had forgotten about that show. I remember thinking it was great when it came out... then it left on a cliffhanger and dissappeared. I need to track it down now.

I've tried the PS1 version, it sucks.

I have the PC version originally when it popped up on GoG some years ago, it works perfect.  THen about a year ago I came across a complete in box copy, it works perfect too using standard settings (which I run through the D-Fend Reloaded GUI.)  So there's no issue running the game correctly as intended.

I thought the PS1 version was pretty good for a port. It does have slow down issues...

  4. Tail of the Sun. There is a island/continent southwest of Pangaea. On the southside of its mountainous region I found a cave. Deep inside was this set of legs without a torso running around and jumping up and down. I eventually killed and ate it but didnt do anything for me as far as I can tell besides being regular food. There was a large Wooly mammoth tusk cache at the end of the cave complex too. Tusk monolith almost halfway to sun...

  5. I gave it an 8. Mostly for just a few games I really like and having the best selection of 2 player co-op dungeon crawlers.

Generally I feel it was this awkward generation between the purity, inventiveness and experimentation of PS1 and the the PS3/Xbox 360 generation where the games felt and looked so good.

Its my least favorite of the Playstation consoles.

  7. Im sold on the console, looks really cool, especially if they keep the games coming. I wish the DS came in a console version. I love the old style games on it, but handhelds havent been my thing since I was young.

My sister bought the VCS and was very disappointed with it, I think she was hoping more for something like this. My family just teamed up and pre ordered the console version of this and some games for Christmas. She had some serious health problems this year and I we all wanted to do something special for her. We grew up with a couple of Lynx's so she will love the Lynx 2 collection.

  8. I was a big fan of Pink Floyd when I was younger too. Dont listen to them as much these days but I still listen to Pulse, and one of my all time favorite albums is Roger Waters- Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking.

I listen to a lot of Japanese music these days... Toto too 🙂

  9. My Kings field and from software collection. I also have the Dark Souls II strategy guide and Armored Core V Verdict day.

I would still like to get the project phantasma Strategy guide and some more Kings field strategy guides. I also want armored core two And armored core two – another age. I play a couple of these at least every year, they are all such great games, I love them. Oh and echo night and echo night beyond if They ever become reasonably priced again, but they are my least favorite of the four franchises.

  10. The King's Field series.

Light on conversations and heavy on exploring labyrinthine areas, real-time combat and loot. Very immersive with a spooky atmosphere, great world building that slowly unfolds. The level design is fantastic throughout the series. I consider shadow tower to be its cousin and within the same series. Some might consider the combat a weak point, I rather like it, there is a finesse to it and yet it is not too demanding. Of course I've come to appreciate it more with age and the slowing of my reflexes ha ha

for more traditional RPG series my favorite is Might and Magic, especially three through seven, with my favorite being six. It's like one giant, first-person, party based, RPG scavenger hunt. You explore and hunt for treasure, hunt down trainers for your skills, hunt down spells. Huge open worlds before open worlds were thing. Very fun with this constant since of progression in equipment, and skills and in cool spells.

Addendum: If you want an idea of how good an XboxDigital mod will actually be, check out reviews of their previous stuff like DCDigital and PS1Digital on YouTube.

They're also releasing the N64Digital now, and a PS2Digital is upcoming as well.

Thanks, I was not aware of these. I looked up the PS one mod, it was gorgeous looking. Unfortunately right now it's a little expensive for me. I'm also pretty lousy with a soldering iron, I burnt up my last PlayStation trying to mod it….

  13. I haven't been buying games much last couple of years And I have most of what I really love. I have been hankering for something a little different lately though. I never did get into 3D platformers when I was younger, or more cartoony games, but it's something I become more and more interested in. So after digesting too many YouTube videos I splurged and got these. I also picked up a replacement laser/w carriage for my PS2. My current one can no longer play a couple of my blue disc games… The Donald Duck game really isn't my style but I love his and uncle Scrooge's comics so I figured I would give it a try.
