The wording is force of habit dealing in many other graded NEW titles.

This is in fact, despite not having shrink wrap, Brand New. Through some contacts, I purchased this and many other titles from a former owner of an electronics store in Ota, Japan who still had plenty of stock 

I’ve spoken to the graders at VGA and they are quite fair and professional about their assessment of such titles. They do in fact look closely along the seams where the box closes. The material and the ink used on these older boxes (famicom through n64) easily will flake off and crease, so it’s not too difficult to know if it was tampered with or not.

No. And they are making a big mistake by not doing so as no other archive or pedigreed collection in art or artifacts would withhold such information.

A cult horror game that may have freaked out some of you (and myself) as kids. One of the very few games developed in Japan released only in US. The once long rumored uncensored Famicom prototype turned out to be real when leaked a few years ago.

WATA has become absolutely atrocious. Only will be using VGA going forward.

Still waiting on a ‘speed run’ order of three games from late Oct 2020.

Their prices have quickly gone up, their service has quickly gone down the toilet.

Outer Box - mild wear - no damage on any side

Instructions - Some buckling on back of booklet (common of long box games). No heavy damage, stains, tears. Has registration card still intact.

Disc - Flawless on both sides - well taken care of - never rebuffed or refinished
