  1. I have noticed an uptick in people not reading descriptions. Sometimes they don’t even get through the whole title before purchasing. I think it’s because COVID led a bunch of new users to sites like eBay because they just NEED to buy in order to survive.

Had one item that said “Xbox ONE console ONLY - *BROKEN*”

Then went into full details of what was wrong with it in the description.

I received one message that asked if everything functioned properly.

Then had 2 different buyers buy it then ask for a cancellation.

Luckily no one asked for a return once it finally sold and shipped.

I just wish more people felt shame or embarrassment for being so stupid. Instead they just carry on with life...leaving a wake of strangers rolling their eyes behind them.

Nice stuff!! Once you get the cables the way you like it's gonna be so clean.

I like your custom n64 and nes 🙂

Thank you! I always wanted a white n64...so I finally just painted my own. Wish they offered it in that color because I think it’s a great look.

  3. Always wanted a place of my own so I could finally put up a console wall. I wanted all open shelving to keep stuff from getting too warm. Also shelves custom cut so there wasn’t too much wasted space. I made two extra shelves so I could add consoles in the future. Everything is run to switch boxes and hooked up on two surge protectors. So I can turn them off when I’m not using them to prevent any power draw unless I feel like gaming.

Then I got the Nintendo section of shelving as they were closing my local Toys R Us. So I can keep all my games and controllers in there next to the recliner. Now it only takes a minute at most to start playing any console on the wall. No more digging through boxes and trying to find the right cords.

My next plan is to put controller cord extensions on each console running down to a custom panel on the front of the bottom tv shelf. To avoid controller cords running in front of the tv on the higher consoles. Also need to find a better way to display my controllers. Or 3D print some stands for them. So it’s not finished yet, but I was just excited to show off the progress.

  4. So I have had this making of tape with a poster advertising how to play the tape. I have read they sent this out to the first 5000 people who ordered the NES game. Though if there is supposed to be 5000 shouldn’t they be easier to find? I have only seen a couple online in the last few years. None of which had the poster.
Does anyone have one of these or seen them more frequently then I have? Is it possible that they didn’t send out all 5000 and that was just a rumor? That possibly there is a box full of them in a storage unit somewhere?

What you're seeing there on the disc is kind of obvious of what it is.  I've seen those very discs before when I was at Midway nearly 20 years ago now.  That is usually used either for a late beta test to see how a potentially finished game would work on real hardware, or it could be a gold master of which real copies of the game would be burned.  Alpha to early-mid/later beta would not get this, just assumed hopefully finished to finished games would as it costs more than just running a file dump through a kit.

Thank you for the information! I looked online and couldn’t find any ps3 discs that looked like this. I assume they were good about not letting copy’s getting out to the public.

  6. Used to work at JJgames warehouse for a few years. Everything weird that came through I would purchase or they just let me have it.

This disc was one of those items. Played first 10 minutes and it seems like a final version. Sly 4 - Time bandits.

I have some more weird stuff I can’t find information on, but I’ll start with this.

  7. I lucked out and got a Xbox one display kiosk from a toys r us that was closing. I am so close to finishing it and am having a hard time getting xbox live gold cards! I have never used a live account and want about 20 used cards to put in the slot next to tv mount. So I’m hoping someone out there has forgotten to throw away cards or sells digital codes online.

Willing to pay $2 per card and would prefer to buy at least 10 at a time. (Where I will include $4 for first class shipping)

Make some money on your trash and make a man very happy.
