I personally recommend that you have the wrinkles professionally steamed out. The problem with ironing a product like this is that both a wrong move and the wrong temperature can damage the patches. While the worst steam can do is take more time to smooth out the wrinkles. Especially if it is a tough fabric like cotton. That, and irons are really for pressing.
