This is insane and congrats.  But you know what, after "getting out of collecting" to pay debts, this is a great way to kickstart the habit hobby again, if you've paid those debts off.

Absolutely crazy that someone on here found a Little Samson in the wild.  Any chance it had the manual?

Ha. I don't know about that. It had probably been 6 months since that last time I ever scored anything in the wild back when I was seriously collecting.

And no, it didn't have the manual.

  2. As some of you know, I recently sold my entire gaming collection and use those funds to pay off my student and car loans. Ironically, weeks later, I scored one of my biggest bundles ever.

I still have my Criagslist wanted ads that I’ve used for years in my area. That ad stopped bringing in contacts a while ago, but out of the blue a guy emailed me about having some games available. He said that he cleaned out houses and got a bundle he wanted to sell. I got his phone number and had him text me some pictures of the lot (shown in the image gallery). As I scanned the end labels of the NES titles, I immediately noticed the light green label of one of the rarest titles in the library. A game that a used to own and sold along with the rest of my collection.

Crazy to think that these scores do still happen in the wild. I haven’t found any bundles in several months and that was a small reason why I decided to cash out. Will this bring me back into seriously game collecting? No, I doubt it. I’m content with my the consoles I kept and the Everdrives that are arriving.

I guess you just never know what is still out there.

  3. Hello all,

With my physical collection pretty much being completely sold off, I'm looking to purchase some Everdrives.

    Who has some?

NES, SNES, GEN, GB, GBA, etc.

    Thanks.

  4. Hello everyone,

After about 7 years in the collecting game and staring at what I was able to accumulate during that time, I'm floating a sale out there to let go of a vast majority of my collection. While I still love to collect, I am now faced with the reality of some financial commitments that have come along since I started collecting. Mainly, having 3 lovely kids as well as car and student loans.

Now, I do not need to sell my collection. I'm not in dire straights whatsoever, but I feel that this may be enjoyed by someone other than me. Obviously someone that has the resources that take on such a large influx of games. Would it be nice to pay off my car and student loans? Yes. But that's more of a dream if a deal can be worked out with the right person. If this does work out and I have to continue sitting here enjoying the fruits of my labor, so be it. 🙂

Before you ask, let me make one thing clear: I AM NOT WILLING TO PART OUT MY COLLECTION. AT THIS TIME, IT IS ALL OR NOTHING. I really don't have the time to list everything individually. I'm also not interested in only selling my rarer items because that just leaves me with a pile of common games that I can't do much with, nor wouldI have desire to keep around at that point.

I have taken a quick picture of my collection, but obviously there is a lot left out. It would be impossible to provide pictures of everything up front. If you are seriously considering purchasing, I will take pictures of whatever you want, including the internal boards and what not. https://imgur.com/a/VNz12hq

This listing is meant for serious offers only. It is expected that the sale is going to take a lot of coordination regarding the payment and the pickup of these items. I would guess that it would require a local pickup to be made, but we can work that out. I am located in Southeast Michigan

Please don't message me if you're not serious or genuine with your intentions. I know a legit offer or person when I see one. I'm not stupid. I know when I'm being worked, so please don't try it. I hate it when sellers post things and are total arrogant jerks about it. I'm not one of those people, but I also will not tolerate people trying to take advantage of me.

Here is a Google Docs listing of my collection: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TthzOagYjuXYzD_UhOYNqRvaM1kWF2D1LNGCDt8jfh4/edit?usp=sharing

Please note that I did my very best to keep things accurate. There is a possibility that some games may be no longer be in my collection, but I can assure you that it is nothing significant that would affect to total value of anything. There is also things that will be included in the sale that I didn't include in the sheet (consoles, guides, etc.)

I'm not totally basing offers that I'm willing to entertain off VGPC, but it's a nice reference: https://www.pricecharting.com/offers?seller=ekm&status=collection

Please note that the VGPC may have some minor inaccuracies. It is also missing some items as well such as consoles and guides.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Thanks!

NVM instructions are pulling in as well for me. I put "Instructions" with an S it should be "Instruction" with the way it is currently configured.

I am not sure yet if any other formats can be worked in, but this format is working fine for me.

If you want to have it neater and have your systems separated, you can make separate "Sheet" tabs for each system with this format.

Export each system into a CSV file and then import them into GVN. Again, works fine i just tested it.

I will see if there are any faster ways though.

Thanks! I'll try it out later today.

  6. Hello all,

Because of the shut-down of NintendoAge, I can not longer find a thread a made a while back that contained instructions for proper uploading spreadsheets into GameValueNow's collection tracker. I remember it being a simple mistake on my part, but now when I try to upload it it will see the games but it can't find any of the titles. I know that the game titles are correct, but I think it's how I am specifying the "Title" column when I upload. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.
