  1. Sekiro joined demon souls as the only souls games I had to take forced breaks and come back.

Demon souls was more because it was my first time playing a souls game (the rest weren't released when I played it haha)

Sekiro was by far the hardest of all the souls games. Definitely felt like I did something great after beating the bosses. Especially the demon, double apes and final boss.

I was not good at parrying when I went into Sekiro, really forced me to learn haha.

I've had a few blisters on my left thumb from grinding out longer sessions on side-scrolling games like Ninja Gaiden 3 and Shredder's Revenge. I played a lot of those two games over the course of a few days.

I missed basketball tryouts in grade 9 because of a Mario Party blister in the middle of my hand. It got pretty infected and took a a few weeks before I could fully open my hand. This was before I started wearing an oven-mitt to play 😛 I specifically remember the tug-o-war and the shy guy rafting mini games... brutal.

I got some really bad blisters from Mario party back in high school as well. Definitely didn't help the function of the controllers joysticks as well.

In the back of my brain, I remember some magazine giving or selling gloves because of this problem. I don't know if it's just me imagining it. Or if the glove was a real thing.

Gotta go with @bag.  I'm mostly jealous of everyone who can do the reductive sculpting.  For me, everything needs to be cut out of the pumpkin.

Haha thanks. I started doing this style pumpkin in 2009. Did the sharks logo and a not so great batman. I used a flat head screw driver for the first 2 years until I got an actual carving kit. Slowly got better at it. Just wish the carvings would last more than a couple of days.

I was never that great at cutting all the way into the pumpkin. Like someone else said, bend the saw trying to do precision cuts, or break off pieces. Do you thin the inside to make it easier to do the cuts? Though that would make it more likely to accidentally break off cut parts back into the pumpkin, which again is one of my problems.

Really want to get some clay sculpting tools and try and 3d one some time.

    Love seeing pumpkin carvings!

I had to carve it Wednesday night since I work graveyards through Halloween. I didn't gut it until today though, as we all know how fast they rot. Was interesting not being able to check my work as I went. Probably could do more detail, but after 6 hrs I was done. Still happy how it came out. Tough to take a picture as the image kind of wraps around the pumpkin.

  5. DuckTales 2 will always be my favorite. Mainly from nastalgia. We rented it from the local video store a couple of times. My mom surprised me by buying it from the video store for my birthday. Still have the same cartridge today. Same thing happened with Super adventure island 2. Rented that 3 times, then my mom got it for me.

What's funny is there was always a rattling in the case. Never knew what it was when I was younger. Until I started collecting and got a key did I find that a piece of the case was broken inside.

Figured I'd post since I go the vaccine too.

I had no symptoms after first shot. Worked my shift, then surfed over head waves right after I got off.

Got my 2nd on Thursday, worked that night and the next 2. Not even a sore arm. Some of my co-workers said they had dead arms. Only ones with the feverish symptoms in my unit have been the ones who had covid already. Will be interesting to see how the Moderna ones do.

I haven't opened mine up yet. I just got celeste earlier this week and put an hour into that and that is really fun and brutal at the same time. I have almost all of the switch games, I think I'm missing 6. I dont buy many digital games so they are usually new to me. I would definitely recommend Mercenary Kings, it reminds me of metal slug.

Have to check it out. Loved playing metal slug at the arcades with my brothers.
