That is a good price. Did you ever try it out?

One time yes.  It’s a lot to setup 🙂

Definitely interesting piece of Nintendo history.

I had more room in the game room, it would stay.

Id rather sell here than eBay.  NA and VGS people helped me build my collection… hoping this goes to someone in the community.

Good luck to anyone trying to beat this price 😉

  2. Taking offers on my complete Racermate setup.

I spent a lot of time years ago piecing this together.  Because of this, I have several backup parts including an extra load generator, handlebar display, and several extra sets of wires.

Racermate carts are pretty easy to find... complete Racermate... not so much

Only selling because I’m out of space.  Great chance to own a very interesting and rare Nintendo piece!

It’s a hipster thing to hate on the Beatles now days. They might not have been the best musicians of their era, but their songwriting still holds up against nearly everyone. Their output in such a small amount of years is pretty crazy, especially since it varies so much sonically from the start to the finish.

    This exactly

Great songwriting, huge catalog, and lots of variety

Aw yeah. I love Talking Heads so much. I'm going to be watching Stop Making Sense in theaters again this weekend. Amazing performance. Their discography is great. More Songs about Building and Food is one of my favorites of there's.

Stop making sense is literally a masterpiece

Ive been on a Ben Folds and Talking Heads kick lately

Rondo of Blood is worth the cost for sure.  I think it is the best Castlevania ever made.  You can find one complete for $150 without the spine if your patient.

I agree.  Rhondo of Blood is definitely one of the best Castlevania games ever made.  Probably in my top 10 favorite games for any system.

PCE Duo-R as several have stated was how I got into turbo.  Can’t go wrong with this and a region mod.

Always amazes me that Lords of Thunder and Rhondo are both running on what is basically a super up 8-bit console.

    The aesthetics are terrific.

One of my favorite items in my collection is the original painting for the Twilight pin backglass.    I should have lifted the mylar sheet before taking the pic, but its the only pic I have handy.

    So much awesomeness!

I've heard the pin is solid.

  7. I finished the loose NES - SE cart only set a few years back and decided to go for a full Cart+Manual set of licensed NTSC games.  There’s something really nostalgic for me about pulling out the actual paper manual when you pop in a cart you’ve never played... I’m somewhere between 550-600 manuals currently.  Mostly good condition.  All alphabetized and in 3 ring binders.

That said, my wife and I bought a new house and I would really like to free up some funds to put towards some renovations.  If there is enough interest in the lot as a whole (and the price is right), I’m looking to move these manuals to a new home.

Im working on a full list now and hope to have it up soon.  Feel free to message me with any questions in the meantime.

Much of the reason I've been absent from the console-related forums is due to my love of Pinball.  I've spent a lot more time over on Pinside as a result.

I currently only own a Sorcerer machine, but have owned the following over the past few years:

    Party Zone

    Lethal Weapon 3

    Tales From The Crypt

    Fish Tales

    Black Rose

    Super Mario Bros

    World Cup Soccer

    Ripley's Believe it or Not

    Road Show

Twilight Zone (I've actually owned two different examples)

    (Stern) Kiss Pro

    Lord of the Rings

    Full Throttle

    Ghostbusters Limited Edition

    Metallica Pro

Spiderman (Owned both a standard and Limited Edition)

    The Who Pinball WIzard

    Time Machine

    Deadpool Premium

There's a few things I love about pinball.  First off: The replay value.  You can shoot the same shot 1,000 times in a row, and have the ball bounce 1,000 different ways.  Secondly: My schedule.  I can play a 5-10 minute game between jobs and get a ton of enjoyment out of it.  Thirdly: The cost and size.  When I'm dropping $5,000-$10,000 a game,  I can only buy so many at a time.  Additionally, I can only accommodate so many machines in my game room.  This forces me to constantly rotate the collection.  With NES games, I could compulsively buy prototypes and store hundreds on a single shelf.  Definitely not the case with pinball.  Lastly: Working on them!  I spend WAY more time refurbishing and fixing project machines than actually playing them.  My latest machine, Sorcerer, was purchased as a non-working project.  I tore that bitch apart and she's running better than ever.  I'll sell that game for a small markup, and put it towards the next one once I've had my fill.

Just starting to look into the pinball world and I can definitely see the appeal!

Im in no hurry to sell my NES collection, but I can see having a few pins in the game room getting a lot more use than 677 games on a shelf... especially when trying to balance work and a family.
