  1. Hey guys so I just got a game in the mail that was brand spanking new and sealed...but the cartridge was loose inside. I've talked to the seller about getting a refund/replacement, but seeing as how it was their only copy listed, I doubt that's gonna happen. Probably gonna have to return the game unless someone has a good method for trying to get the cartridges back in place. I feel like this would be infinitely harder vs a loose disc game in a sealed case where I've actually had these issues with sealed PS4 games and gotten them back in place properly. Just figured I would try to ask before I sent this off as a return.

  2. I got so lucky on Gamestop last year I ordered Yo Kai Watch Blasters White Dog Squad, Red Cat Corps, and Alien Chaos 3D all from their website. I don't know how they were in stock but I remember checking their pages every few days or so since I found out about the games. When I ordered them, Alien Chaos was cart only, WDS was "new" but had no sticker seal or plastic seal, and Red Cat Corps was cart only with a Gamestop case. Just thought it was super weird but still happy nonetheless.

  3. Just had an absolute find for a STEAL. The guy I bought 2 sealed PS2's and a sealed Darth Vader PSP from hit me up again and sold me his Nintendo stuff along with the big hitters of his sealed PS2 collection. Got everything in the picture for $1415. Here's more pics. https://imgur.com/gallery/xypfQ6s everything on the PS2 side is brand new and sealed except for the last 4.

Unfortunately Skygunner, Tales of Legendia, and Atelier Iris 2 had some damage to their seals but not complaining. Especially with the God Hand, Xeno 3, and Def Jam find.

  4. Now that every Wii U game has basically been ported over to Switch...will the Wii U still be viable to even collect for? What are your guys' thoughts. I'm glad everything is ported over but it just seems like there's really no reason to have a Wii U other than for modding purposes at this point.

  5. Found these sealed on FB marketplace for $200 each...I nearly shat myself when I saw the listing but was so happy to meet the guy as he was very nice and just trying to make some extra money from old games he had collected over the years...he told me that day that he had a bunch of sealed games along with some Nintendo stuff so he was going to get back to me on those! Love these types of deals where you can meet someone really cool and genuine and especially when they say they have more😀

Also got this awesome lot for $300. Wanted it mostly for CIB Paper Mario and Pokemon XD to replace my disc only copy and since the value was so great I'll probably be getting rid of the others for a decent price.

Idk it seems to be newer collectors that are paying these insane amounts. A lot of buyers just don't have the patience to wait for a lower price or search through yard sales. If you've been in the hobby for years you're probably more likely to wait for prices to drop back down and you might already own the game anyway. From what I've seen it isn't the really rare titles going up, it's the most well-known titles. More people know the name Shantae than Wendy Every Witch Way.

What the hell Wendy Every Witch Way is skyrocketing too? I used to have like 3 copies of those and got rid of them for $15 each years ago...

More than sealed prices not too long ago, and IIRC multiple sealed cases were even found recently. Getting to Little Samson prices for the sort of Little Samson of GBC in that it's hard to find, well liked, and well known even by people who don't know much about the console. I'd personally rather have the hypebeast NES game than a GBC game not even 20 years old though!

Looks like a really bad buy considering the condition TBH. The cart is even a little dirty. I only understand these crazy "FU at any price" bids for something in exceptional condition. Hopefully an outlier for you. 3 bidders over $2k though, crazy.

I know this is an old post, but is there any documentation on these cases being found?

  8. I can't believe how much 3DS has skyrocketed. I recently picked up a 20th Anniversary Pokemon NN3DS for about $300 shipped after taxes. I remember it was hard to unload those back then because there were so many. I'm glad I picked up everything I wanted before quarantine but the only things I did not pick up were DQ 7 and 8 which I regret. May pick them up on my next paycheck.
