Has anyone played Star Ocean: Blue Sphere? There are fan-translated carts going around, if you want to play it on console. I ended up beating it in Japanese long ago (barely understood what I was doing at the time), but I'm really excited that it is now available in English to play in one form or another.
If you have played it, what do you think? I love how it combines Link's Awakening mechanics (slash to disperse bushes, dash, jump, explosives on cracked walls, side-view swimming, etc.) with Tales of Phantasia-style side-scrolling real-time combat -- and no random battles, either. I am utterly blown away by it, quite frankly.
And that secret room you can only access by switching your game cart to a classic GBC -- The Game Boy Room, impossible to enter otherwise (the wall is invincible). Recently someone hacked their way inside on a GBC, and could not open the treasure chests, unless on an Original Game Boy. I personally think it's one of the neatest Easter eggs of all time, switching consoles to gain access to some of the top items.- 1

Thanks dood! They really are pretty comfy for sessions, like a racing bucket seats lumbar is good as it's hard plastic similar to what they make kids outdoor toys or patio furniture out of and the way the seat is shaped feels like it makes you sit straighter. Also not sure if this model is made anymore but look for AK Designs AK100 rocker, they have much fancier chairs now as well: https://www.akracing.com/
Awesome, thanks for the tips and info!

Can I see more pics from other angles and may I use them for my website?
Sure. Right now I don't have access to it, but I'd happily take photos for you as soon as I can. What's your website?

So... do you have any contacts of people who use to work for Squaresoft USA in the early/mid 90s?
I know some epic collectors who did. Those were the best days, huh? I'm friends with some of the Japanese composers from that time.

Squaresoft 1995 Tanaka Kikinzoku Jewelry Silver Pin Set, featuring 3 classics: Romancing SaGa 3, Front Mission: Gun Hazard, and Super Mario RPG. I believe these were gifts at a press event from long ago. Very nice, featuring detailed pins and an advertisement from the company for services they could provide like this. Truly a remarkably rare item from Squaresoft’s golden days, featuring some of its best and most unique games. Complete in box with everything, even the letter. Love the velvet case with the pop-out display. Definitely one of my rarest and most prestigious items.

Really sorry for your loss, my friend. Right now, I am broke as broke can be, and usually only collect promotional stuff from stores. But thanks for thinking of me.
I am glad this wasn't as bad as it could have been, and that your true grails are okay. You are very resilient emotionally. It is tough to lose what you so delicately curate.
I know I feel awful when I damage a poster, and you know how easy that is, with them being paper. It's not a good feeling to see something you had perfect in damaged shape.
Wishing you lots of lucky acquisitions in the second half of this year.- 1

I've shown this in my own thread, but I figured I'd post it here since it is a recent acquisition. This is one of my holy grails, but I have quite a few I'd consider that. I really like items that are 1 of a kind. This is one such item. It measures 18 by 36 feet and is made of a thick vinyl. You can see it takes up the entire street. It was used at E3 on the exterior walls of the Los Angeles Convention Center in 2019, when FF7 Remake was being touted. Before the rating and release date. There was definitely only 1 of them made.
I plan on showing more stuff from my collection as I make friends here.- 6

Holy cow! Is there an awesome backstory to how you got this? Anything you can share here?
I had a friend who worked at the convention center! He was holding on to it for me, and I bought it from him! Thanks for the love, my friend!
There was only one, and it was used to promote the game in 2019!- 2

The 18x36 foot E3 2019 ONLY-ONE-IN-THE-WORLD Final Fantasy VII Remake Promo Vinyl Building Banner! Weighs 35 pounds!! This banner was before the release date and before the rating! On the side of the LA Convention Center! The one and only! This is the hugest promo I have ever seen! I had to use panorama from a ladder to get that frontal shot. Just so huge. And so cool seeing the spotlights and details of Midgar in such extravagance!

Here is a grail item I posted in the 1 of a kind thread. I have a few things like this. But this is my favorite. It's a 1 of a kind card from the MGS card packs. Basically a golden ticket akin to Charlie in the Chocolate Factory. Except it's not a ticket. 10 of these total, and 1 in every 3,500 packs. Otacon is my favorite character in the MGS franchise, so I am very happy to have this.
And here are a few more posters from my collection.

Gray Fox / "Ninja" Falcon-class (transparent gray-- 1 in 36 packs) Metal Gear Solid Trading Card signed by MGS translator and localizer, as well as voice director, Jeremy Blaustein, who also localized Symphony of the Night, Suikoden II, Valkyrie Profile, and Snatcher, among many other titles.
He's such a cool dude. Love his sig,
