  1. I love roller coasters and my oldest daughter is old enough now to go on most. My favorite is Six flags but I've only been to Chicago and Atlanta. Chicago is my favorite and it had a ride called the shockwave that is now gone but I remember growing up waiting for myself to be tall enough to ride that bad boy.

  2. For me it would be

SMB/Duck Hunt - The first real games I could play on my own. The zapper was a great accessory and SMB is a masterpiece.

Metroid - One of my favorite franchises. The world they created was spooky as hell when I was a kid and I was completely thrown for a loop when I put in the justin bailey code.

Dragon Warrior 4 - Probably my favorite RPG of all time. I loved the whole chapter system and everyone coming together at the end and the story was good at the time.

Mortal Kombat 2 - Me and my older brother would play this all day during the summer with the SNES modem. Good times.

Final Fantasy 3 (6) - I think this is the best RPG of all time. The story, magic system with espers, steampunk type machinery, Kefka, Sabin... this game hit all the right points to be a classic masterpiece and I still play it to this day.

Super Metroid - A step up in every way from the original. I remember we were getting ready for vacation and I was mad because I was damn near the end and I had to wait to get back to beat it.

Metroid Prime - I love metroid what can I say.

Baldurs Gate - For me this was as close an experience to actually playing DnD as it got. The graphics and story were near perfect for the time.

Diablo - Good God what a great game. Just one more chest and I'm going to stop, yeah right.

StarCraft/Warcraft- the only real RTS games that I could get into. Starcraft was so fun when you would have LAN parties with friends.

Elder Scrolls Oblivion - This was my first purchase along with quake for my 360. I like playing dnd and this game is perfect for any fans of medieval fantasy gaming.

Fall Out 3 - Another great game that me and my buddy would play all the time. This game was good it was entertaining watching someone else play.

Zelda breath of the wild - This game is epic in every sense of the word. I have 120 hours easy between the WiiU and switch versions and I still haven't beaten it.

Therw were plenty more but these are the ones that stick out the most.

  3. I was surprised how much I enjoy the Disney +. My wife got it for the kids and it has a surprising amount of content and alot of cartoons I watched as a kid. Darkwing Duck, Gargoyles, Simpsons, Gummi Bears not to mention all the Star Wars and MCU movies. Plus the Mandalorian is really cool so far, really liked the IG costume and story so far.

  4. I watched Monster Squad , inglorious bastards, and bohemian rhapsody. I regret nothing and was entertained. Monster Squad is total 80s campy goodness. Inglorious bastards is obviously one of those multi sub plot flicks but very well put together. Bohemian Rhapsody obviously has an awesome soundtrack and was a decent look into the bands history.

My wife supports the hobby.  At the Portland expo she was the one crossing games off the list as I found them.  Now she's  talking about collecting the Wii set herself.  I think I'm rubbing off on her a bit.

I was just kidding, anyways, the Wii set is definitely a fun set to collect. One of the best systems of all time in my opinion.

If she didn't gripe once about buying and hauling all of that stuff around, marry her... again!

Wait until she finds out where the rest of the wedding gift money went. Nice haul though, my wife would have killed me when she found the hidden stash.

I'm not a fan of the artificial scarcity business model, so I'm not a fan of LRG. That being said, it seems like their stuff is quality, even if their turnaround is sometimes horrible.

Sometimes their turnaround is horrendous. It seems they have a wide gap in shipping times in between orders of the same game lots. I can read of people on here and the old site talking about a game they just got and I would get excited because I ordered that game so I should be receiving it soon.  Wrong, 2 to 4 weeks later I'll finally get it. I dont know if it's because I order my game later, I don't normally hop on there at the first email notification and start buying.

Definitely recommend rogue legacy. Fun game with some challenge

I haven't opened mine up yet. I just got celeste earlier this week and put an hour into that and that is really fun and brutal at the same time. I have almost all of the switch games, I think I'm missing 6. I dont buy many digital games so they are usually new to me. I would definitely recommend Mercenary Kings, it reminds me of metal slug.

  9. I mostly collect stuff I will play, I'm wanting to pick up a Sega Saturn and a Turbografx or PC engine. Otherwise just working on my nes set minus stadium events and odds and ends for other consoles like the SNES, Gameboy, GBA, Gamecube... ohh and the switch, the backlog for that thing actually gives me anxiety and I get confused when I try and decide what to play.

  10. The switch seems to be getting everything on it so I could definitely see it hitting that milestone. I have over 50 games for it and can't believe the variety of games for this system along with the ability to play on either the TV with a pro controller to playing in hand held in the car. It's just so convenient.
