Is the 32x expensive? I got mine on clearance back in the 90s.
My genesis needs some repairs (forgot to mention that part) and it's always been a pain in the ass hooking up the 32X with it's separate power cable. Especially if you hook up the Seag CD too you have to find outlets for 3 big ac adapters. This mod seems like a more convenient alternative.

I saw this video on Youtube today and I said to myself "I want one."
I have the Genesis that needs repair and a working 32x. I'd like to send them off to someone who can combine them like so and send them back.
