    Nice!

Prices are always tricky for prototypes, the value is usually a little higher if the games have differences to the final retail releases or are from a popular IP, e.g. Mario or Castlevania.

James Pond II was actually released as Super James Pond in PAL land so this is not unreleased but probably an earlier version before the name was changed.

My estimate and it is just that without seeing/knowing the differences is around £100-£150 each but as I say could vary based on a number of factors.

Not overall rare but certainly cool.

Are you looking for a value to sell these? I might know someone who is interested.

Thanks for the info I really appreciate it.
I’m not sure if I’m selling yet but will let you know if I am.
    cheers.

Yeah, absolutely beautiful shape, but it's hard to advertise something as "new" when it's missing the key component that's worth the most in the whole package... (unless of course it's you who took SMB3 out to sell separately to maximize your profits on this item 😉 )

Yeah it is a real shame it doesn’t have the game, when I asked the guy I got it from he said that he thinks that they (the company)just needed the game but head office which was in the states sent over the full set to the U.K. and the console was just left boxed unused,I know it’s genuinely unused as the guy I got it from didn’t even know that it was ntsc untill I told him and he said as he’s never tried to hook it up he never knew, all items have there cable ties and baggies are stapled at the end

Nice but the copy of super mario 3 sealed if in great shape is what brings the money.  If you can get people on board to consider it 'new' then you could get more but you're probably looking at $400 ish.

  4. Hi guys,
Iv got a brand new American nes challenge set and was wondering what it might be worth?
I  acquired it from someone who use to work for  a game developer company mindscape, when they got bought out from another company that mainly focused on game marketing they had a massive storage of bits that the company was going to throw away so all the staff got a chance to pick and choose anything that they want to take home with them and he chose this but never even got out of out of the box but unfortunately is missing the game and the box does have a couple of knocks but everything inside is mint brand new and even has that brand-new smell.
    Thanks in advance.
