  1. Hopefully a full list of GBA games ported or remade for eighth-generation consoles/handhelds or newer:

    Ports:

    Castlevania Advance Collection (NSw, PS4, XBO) (Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance, & Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow)
    Gekido Kintaro's Revenge (NSw, PS4)
    Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection (NSw, PS4) (Mega Man Battle Network 1–6)
    Mega Man Zero/ZX Collection (NSw, PS4, XBO) (Mega Man Zero 1–4)
    Ninja Five-O (NSw, PS4, PS5)
    Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution (NSw, PS4, PS5) (unfinished GBA game)

    Remakes:

    Advance Wars 1+2 Reboot Camp (NSw) (Advance Wars & Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising)
    Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions (3DS)
    Mario vs. Donkey Kong (NSw)
    Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy (3DS, NSw, PS4, XBO) (Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Justice for All, & Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Trials and Tribulations)
    Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX (NSw)
    Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire (3DS)
    Robotech: The Macross Saga HD Edition (NSw)

    For this list I am not counting Nintendo's GBA app for Nintendo Switch Online, the 3DS' Ambassador program, or the Wii U Virtual Console, but would count separate releases through the eShop if applicable. So feel free to comment any missing games and I'll be sure to add them and can even expand to seventh-gen consoles if there are any.

    I have no idea what came first or same time, but in Japan there was a manga and set of toys.

    There's actually very little information regarding this, but it does seem like the game came first and then they released the manga and a toy line to capitalize on the games release. If you have more information and can prove me wrong, I'd happily add it to the list though.

  3. Here my list of NTSC-U GameCube games based on anime or manga. Feel free to interpret yr own subset however you choose, I just felt that this could be treated as the "most complete possible" even if it may include certain titles that others wouldn't include for their personal lists:

    Beyblade VForce: Super Tournament Battle *+
    Bomberman Jetters **+
    Cubix: Robots for Everyone - Showdown *** +
    Digimon Rumble Arena 2 *
    Digimon World 4 *
    Dragon Ball Z: Budokai
    Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2
    Dragon Ball Z: Sagas
    Hello Kitty: Roller Rescue ****+
    Medabots Infinity ***** +
    Naruto: Clash of Ninja +
    Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2 +
    One Piece: Grand Adventure
    One Piece: Grand Battle!
    One Piece: Pirates' Carnival
    Pokémon Box: Ruby and Sapphire **+
    Pokémon Channel **+
    Pokémon Colosseum **+
    Pokémon Colosseum Bonus Disc **+
    Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness **+
    Rave Master +
    Ultimate Muscle: Legends vs. New Generation +
    Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsebound Kingdom ******+
    Zatch Bell! Mamodo Battles +
    Zatch Bell! Mamodo Fury +
    Zoids: Battle Legends *+

    Key:  * anime based on toy, ** anime based on game, *** Korean, **** anime based on mascot, ***** game/manga dual origin, ****** anime based on card game, + GCN exclusive

  4. All of the main regions had GBA games with revisions, I haven't had the chance to catalogue the PAL [EUR-1, FRA-1, etc.] or NTSC-J [JPN-1] games (and probably will never get around to a full list), but I have what I believe is a (or very close to) complete NTSC USA-1 revision list. These were most often done when publishers changed but also to fix glitches or other minor changes. Most, if not all, revisions also replaced the original "Official Nintendo Seal of Quality" text with "Official Nintendo Seal."

    The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius - Jet Fusion (?)
    Animal Snap (AIA --> Ignition)
    ATV: Quad Power Racing (?)
    ATV: Quad Power Racing [USA-2] (Acclaim --> Krave)
    Backyard Hockey (?)
    Demon Diver (AIA --> Ignition)
    Dexter's Laboratory: Deesaster Strikes (fixed unwinnable glitch)
    Ed, Edd n Eddy: Jawbreakers! (?)
    Hot Wheels: Velocity X (?)
    IK+ (AIA --> Ignition)
    Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer (Activision O₂ --> Activision)
    Konami Krazy Racers (?)
    Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX (Activision O₂ --> Activision)
    Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2 (Activision O₂ --> Activision)
    Midway's Greatest Arcade Hits (Midway --> Majesco)
    Monster Bass Fishing (AIA --> Ignition)
    Nickelodeon: 4 Games on One Game Pak (replaced one of the four games, Fairly OddParents: Shadow Showdown with Fairly OddParents: Enter the Cleft)
    Pinball Tycoon (AIA --> Ignition)
    Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (TDK Mediactive --> Global Star Software)
    Polly Pocket: Super Splash Island [did not get USA-1 distinction, but changed labels and ID] (AGB-AOTE-USA/Vivendi Universal Games --> AGB-B3FE-USA/DSI Games)
    The Powerpuff Girls: Mojo Jojo-a-Go-Go (?)
    Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (?)
    Rocket Power: Dream Scheme (?)
    The Sims: Bustin' Out (1473117 on label, further meaning unknown)
    Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder (Activision O₂ --> Activision)
    SpongeBob SquarePants: Revenge of the Flying Dutchman (?)
    Spyro: Season of Ice (Children's Software Rerelease)
    Stadium Games (AIA --> Ignition
    Strike Force Hydra (AIA --> Ignition)
    Super Drop Zone (AIA --> Ignition)
    Tetris Worlds (changed box art, title screen)
    Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 (Activision O₂ --> Activision)
    Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 (Activision O₂ --> Activision)
    Top Gun: Firestorm Advance (Titus --> Mastiff)
    The Wild Thornberrys Movie (?)
    World Tennis Stars (AIA --> Ignition)

    Generally, it seems that the revisions had smaller print runs, but that wasn't always the case. It's said that Dexter was a mail-in exclusive, but I'd have to imagine any versions still on store shelves would've been replaced as well. Konami Krazy Racers seems like it had a much lower print run. I'm not to sure what the revisions for Ed, Edd n Eddy, KKR, Powerpuff Girls, or any of the other games with a '(?)' next to them updated, so if anybody else knows I'll update the list.

    If there are any more that are missing from this list, feel free to correct me and I'll fix the list as well.

  5. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Powerpuff-Girls-Mojo-Jojo-A-Go-Go-Nintendo-Game-Boy-Advance-2001-/362974007664?_trksid=p2349526.m4383.l10137.c10&nordt=true&rt=nc&orig_cvip=true

    USA-1 version does have only "Official Nintendo Seal" as opposed to yr picture, but I still haven't seen a open box copy of this one so I'm not sure. Can only assume that this is the regular USA version without the revision.

  6. Hello VGS! I am mainly a GBA collector and recently have been focusing on completing my wishlist for the system. There's pretty much no rhyme or reason to the wishlist other than some rares, expensive games, and personal curiosities. I mainly only go for loose carts but always potentially interested in CIB depending on the game. Always open to trades if you'd prefer that as well. Oddities, variants, store displays, kiosks, GBA-related Nintendo Powers, manuals, and various other GBA-related merchandise are also always very interesting to me and would always be considered for purchase. Bolded titles are more of my priorities at the moment and the list is split up so that it can be more easily navigated. Feel free to PM me or comment if there is anything with which you can help. Thanks you, VGS!

    hihi,

    In the last year, I've gotten into collecting prototypes, I've got some for the GBA, for the PS2, one for the PS3, 3 for the SFC, and a few for the PSP, so I figured I'd ask.

    Does anyone else collect prototypes here?

    Out of curiosity, what GBA carts do you have?
